We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

SwitzerlandThe mattress felt old and was not so comfortable. Parking organization but again the staff resolved it for us in the best way possible.
Great location in Rapallo, which is a great starting point to visit Cinque Terre villages (by train) and Portofino (by ferry). Also, multiple restaurants and bars around ! We had the suite with a beautiful sea view which was a great value for money. Nothing luxurious, but absolutely does the job if you are planning to spend the day outside like we did. The staff is what made our stay perfect, particularly Francesco at the reception and the restaurant staff. Great service and amenities, better than some 5* hotels I stayed at around the world.

United StatesThe room we were assigned was way too small, as were the bathrooms. Noisy location. Our oversight, many cars passing so you get exhaust, and so many cigarette smokers.
We loved our visit and the staff is wonderful. We also understand that the hotel is under new management/ownership and it's a work in progress. Whatever gaps we experienced in room size, bedding, and bathroom size, was made up for by the attentive and super friendly staff. As a designer, I have to comment that the decor is in desperate need of professional attention to compete and command a higher rack rate. The style is not clear, one gets several very different vibes when they look around. It most certainly was eclectic, but could have been so much more refined and elegant. We'll pay the price, but since we had a last minute reservation, we got what we got. Is it eclectic, hip, modern, funky elegance or random? Yellow plastic dome ceiling light fixtures and yellow plastic lucite bathroom fixtures. The sheets are not tucked in so they come loose when you sleep. Our room was missing artwork, and the bold teal paint color on the walls, though cheery and sea-like, made the room feel even smaller than it was. Rather than have a balcony, I would have much preferred to be given a choice to pay more for a larger room. The bathrooms are meant to look industrial or loft-like but they are so small one can hardly get past the commode to get to the shower. Breakfast items served are all cold, mostly pastries, Special K, little or no fresh fruit, little for gluten free except the hard boiled eggs. One server to make coffees and serve hot water for teas made for longer waits. ps - I work and live in the NYC area so I know small is a challenge but can be done very well with professional designer input.

FranceThe hotel staff came to clean our room even though we did not put the sign requesting for cleaning. I realized that they took our towels and did not provide with any new ones. I called the lobby and they told me they would bring some, after 10 minutes and no news I go to the lobby and they seem surprised that I have not received any towels. After investigations the staff tells me that there are no towels left in the hotel and that they can give me a hand cloth. I told them that this is outrageous, that they took my perfectly fine towel and then left me with none. They decided that my towel was dirty after one use and then left me with nothing. This is the first time in my life that I’ve been in a hotel with no towels. They should’ve bought one if they had an issue. I paid 1000€ for 5 days and I did not have a towel because they took it from me. You can imagine the distress after a day at the beach. The lobby staff did not seem to care and just “apologized” without any real emotion or care. I am really disappointed in this hotel, and the elevator was not working most of the times.
The location was ideal and there was a nice view from the room.

AustraliaBathroom was dirty, had a funny smell and has no tiles? never experienced this before. We had cold showers for half the trip due to hot water issue. I understand thing break but the staff didn’t really seam to think it was a problem? Balcony full of dead plants… definitely needs a little table with two chairs to enjoy balcony view. Cleaning was hit and miss. Some days our room was cleaned and turn down service provided, other days nothing at all. Room stated on services that it had a coffee maker and an electric kettle. Neither of these this were provided. We were told they were broken? Aircon is in the corner of the room on floor level. A glass table has been placed in front so the aircon doesn’t work effectively and leaks water. The price paid verses services provided was disappointing.
View was amazing! The bed was comfortable and the room was a decent size. Hotel location was a ten minute walk from the train station and across the road from the sea.
