The price for single-person room was a bit higher and parking in garagge was not included in the price.

The receptionist was amazing. He helped me to find the garagge and answered all my questions in a kind and very professional manner. The hotel is also near to tram T2 which will take you directly to city center.

The hotel is a good value for money. It is situated a bit outside of the center, but with the new Tram line, one can easily reach Florence's main station in about 15 minutes. Staff was helpful and couteous. Simple but good breakfast.

The voice of others’ toilet room was deeply in our room. The voices were unrestful. The bathroom’s plastic door is also broken.

Room was small and very basic, but everything worked. The wall-mounted AC/fan unit made quite a bit of noise and we needed earplugs. A simple portable fan would have worked fine for at night. Going back and forth on the tram to city center became wearisome and we would have preferred to stay somewhere in walking distance. The hotel neighborhood felt safe, but the end-of-the-line tram stops at Unita and the train station can be scary at night. While buying tickets at the ticket machine we were hit on by aggressive beggars and scammers trying to sell fake tickets, with no police or security guards in sight. Remember to be on guard and work as a team with your traveling companion.

Mio Hotel is located in a residential neighborhood about 15 minutes by tram to the city center, and only 3 tram stops from Florence airport. Very convenient for flying out (not so much for going back and forth to the center). We felt comfortable walking the short distance to the hotel from the tram late at night. Breakfast is great, with service starting at 7:00. We enjoyed the self-service espresso machine. Front desk is open 24 hours and staff are very friendly & helpful. Strong wifi. Our room was immaculate, the bed comfortable.

It was in a kind of sketchy neighborhood and the room was pretty sparse. They put us in a special needs room so that was a little awkward.

The mattresses and air conditioning equipment definitely need updating. Bed was not very comfortable .

Located close to the tram station so getting into the historic center of Florence is quite easy. Also, for its price, the breakfast is super complete and has a lot of buffet options. Definitely a positive surprise.
