How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

We loved Elissabeth…. We were warmly greeted and she made us feel so welcomed! Very secure hotel, extremely close to train and buses to the airport. Great as a quick base when in Rome.

The location (outside the property) is a bit run down, as it is close to a main train station but nothing to do with the property
Our stay was only one night but it was exceptional! Elisabetta gave us such professional, yet friendly service. The property is conveniently located minutes from Termini station, it is clean, and the breakfast was also a big plus! Elisabetta even let myself and my partner checkout late at short notice

Exterior to entry point (3rd floor) not as lovely as the actual hotel.
Convenient for our purposes, a short walk from Termini train station. Elisabetta was very nice. Comfortable clean bed and bath.

Elizabeth was so helpful. We kept having to change our booking details and she was so kind and patient. A wonderful host. It's in an excellent location beside Termini train station and has a lot of restaurants nearby. We could walk everywhere. Rooms are comfortable with good air conditioning and quiet. Has a lift! I would definitely stay here again.

Wifi was a bit intermittent
Convenient location very close to Termini & ALL amenities a tourist would expect. Exceptionally clean. AC was great & we slept very well.

Good staff. Approach like to family guest. Elizabeth is really worried about every person. Basically it is Rome and Termini. You used hotel just to sleep and breakfast. Here very good bad and routher quiet. Very Clean. Breakfast is Good - Coffe and sandwiches, Yogurt. Of course it is not Turkey all inclusive. But if you choose "value for money" it is Best proposal near Termini.

The bathroom was quite cramped, although it contained everything we needed. We stayed in a room on the floor below reception and the WiFi signal was weak.
The host was very welcoming and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel after checking out and return later to collect it. The hotel was immediately next to Roma Termini making it incredibly convenient for train/metro travel. The room was very spacious and cold drinking water and air conditioning were provided.

Amazing central location beautiful owners extremely clean and super helpful to find our way around the city. Great recommendations on attractions and where to eat. Excellent value for money in such a large city with walking distance to main Rome Terminal.

Nothing, everything was perfect.
The staff were brilliant and the customer service was exceptional. The breakfast was also very good and were able to accomodate different dietary requirements. Very close to metro and local attractions. Elisabetta and her son was very helpful in providing suggestions as to how to get around Rome. Accomodation was well equipped with the necessary facilities and the bed were very comfy. Thank you very much for making our stay with you a memorable experience. Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting and staying in Rome. Will definately stay here again when coming back to Rome.

the only downfall was the wifi connection was poor, but this wasn’t essential for us
The best thing about this property is Elizabetta, she’s an incredible host, so friendly, polite and happy to give local advice, she made our whole stay. I’ve never felt so welcomed in someone’s company and she really went above and beyond for us.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They make sure you are taken care of.the location is great! Right next to the main train station where you can catch the bus or the train to any airport. The staff takes security seriously. The hotel is within comfortable walking distance from major attractions.

There are a few vagrants in the vicinity.
Nicely decorated and comfortable room with a good breakfast included. Access to wine at reasonable prices. Its also near to the Train Station. A nearby Trattoria gives good food in the evening.

Rossi Hotel is an ideal place to stay while visiting Rome, close to many importanat places. Elisabetta is very kind and helpful, breakfast was delicious, the room was very clean, with comfortable beds, good wi-fi. I highly recommend this hotel.
