This is a special place, it is what it is. Nothing not to like.

We have been stopping at this hotel for years on our way from England to our place in Canino. It is a relaxing place after so much motorway driving. It’s calm. It’s always there. It’s home.

Generally it was OK. The swimming pool was turning green which was unfortunate because we fancied a swim. Some of the staff at breakfast looked like they had just fallen out of bed.

The hotel is delightfully located on the lake. The atmosphere is relaxed with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. The hotel was clean, neat and tidy.

The reception staff and breakfast staff (the same) were a little miserable.

Room was large and spacious, but a little tired in decor. Breakfast was better than most hotels I have stayed in Italy. Location was superb!

Hard to say but maybe a small kettle in the room to have a cup of tea in the morning. The restaurant did open at 07.15 so wasn't a big issue.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The location is fantastic and we had a lake view!

several of the facilities were not working: outdoor jacuzzi, flickering hall light on the stairs, shower didnt drain, no sockets for phone charging and aircon remote control out of battery( thouh one did work for all units).

We were in a penthouse quadruple room on the top floor- much larger than in the hotells pictures. Breakfast, which was included was nice with a good selection of cakes.

Rooms and common areas are a bit dated.

Beautifully located on Lago Viverone, waking up is a real treat with a view like that. The hotel is a bit older and the rooms are dated, but it adds to the charm for some guests. Rooms are quite large and we had access to a nice balcony on the second floor. Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. Our little dog Smokey was the star of the show! Breakfast was great too!

we arrived in morning after along flight from paris. staff took pity on us and we were in our room about 11.00 am. this was such a blessing as we hadn’t slept much in 36 hours. property is located in great part of town. couple of blocks from Raffles. food was available nearby. room was well equipped and bed was super comfortable. we really tested them out!

Room: -it was noisy from the surrounding bars so we had to keep all windows closed and it was very hot. -We had the AC in each bedroom but somehow we didn't manage to make it work (we arrived very late and didn't bother to ask for help) -4 people but only one big towel for the shower (staff provided more for the swimming pool!) -Sofa bed for the kids was not confortable at all for adults but fortunately good enough for small kids Parking: -Many spots but actually most of the cars where from not-guests of the hotel. So we struggled to find a spot when arrived Breakfast: -The choice was somehow lower comparison to other hotels we visited and, even though it was an help-yourself setup, you had to ask the ladies behind the counter for the serving of bread and pastries: somehow odd...

Room was actually an apartment: so very spacious! Sauna and SPA included but we had no chance to use them Very clean rooms Calm and restfull concerning the nearby rooms Swimming pool and playing area for kids just great Friendly staff and very clean environment: they even left us keep the room till 11:00 when we should have left the room by 10:00 AM. Tasty cakes and brioches

The decor was a little tired in places.

Good location on the lake, with ample free parking. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The owner did her best to ensure all our needs were catered for.

The airco did not work very good, a lot of noise and no cold air.

It's an older hotel but it is clean and the staff is friendly. The breakfast was good and the location is beautiful with view over the lake.

Cleaning away the breakfast offerings before scheduled finish time and while we were still eating. Some items need maintenance such as window shutters. Pool could do with a clean even though according to them 26C is not warm enough to swim. Pool was a disgusting eyesore. Maybe they should invest in a pool cover and some solar heating?

The hotel is in a great location overlooking a lake with great scenery around the lake. We had a lake view room which was fabulous. There is a restaurant opposite the hotel which is linked to the hotel. Had a lovely meal lakeside and the pizza we had was in the top 5 I’ve ever had. Breakfast was pleasant
