You really need a car if you stay here. The taxi service was expensive and not reliable.

The only thing is the equipment in the apartment, it absolutely doesn’t matter that it is old, but in some rooms you cannot close the wardrobe. It doesn’t change the overall positive impression

The monastery is small but very beautiful. The restaurant is amazing. Ivan and his family served a great dinner, accompanied by a nicely selected Chianti. It is a truly nice place to spend a night or even more, visiting the beautiful small towns and villages of Tuscany.

The bed is not so comfortable and the bathroom is not so big. A bit disappointed for the restaurant, because the food is served in really small portions and you do not have so many options.

There is no air conditioning, there are fans in every room but during this summer it just was not enough. We stayed 7 days and the thing we were mostly disappointed with were the breakfasts - breakfast was exactly the same each day (except for sweets) - one type of ham, one type of cheese, hard boiled eggs, one type of cottage cheese… overall poor selection and exactly same each day. That was a real disappointment. The coffee was good though :)

The room was not well prepared. Although we had a late arrival, there was a smell in the room and we were obliged to leave the windows open to ventilate it for some hours. Also, given that we were 4 persons in the room, some toiletries were missing. The mattresses are not very conformable.

It provides the full Toscana experience. The whole property is iconic in every detail. The staff was very helpful and the food at the restaurant very good.

Gorgeous pool area; lovely grounds; convenient restaurant. This is a perfect location--quiet, beautifully situated--for visiting Siena and other interesting towns in the area. My room was perhaps more "antique" and less lovely than those in the photos, but it was serviceable.

Our room was a one bedroom + one sofa bed style, where the bedroom and everything else were really nice, but the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, old, loud, cranky with no light switches and plugs around the bed, and because it was in the living area, it was really really cold. The listing says that the property has bicycles, but they don’t.

The only downside of this accomodation was, that the gras around the property was mowed every day, wich caused a lot of noise.

The Location and the old Resort are wonderful! it is a beautiful property and the people who work there are very friendly and organized everything to our liking! Also the restaurant is very good and all the staff were very nice people! Chiara helped us a lot with recommondations for wine tastings and restaurant! she was a great help! would definetly come back here!
