The location was outside the old city, but the location to the highway and ability to walk about 15 mins put you in the heart of the old city

The property offered many amenities, good Location just outside the old city walls, but walkable… to many sites, food, and shopping..it has accessible parking, and the staff was very helpful, and went out of there way to make our stay amazing.

The location could not have been better. One minute drive to the car park and a short walk to the escalators to go up to the old town. I would not hesitate to stay here again next time in Perugia.

Newly refurbished bedroom and bathroom- Spacious and nicely furnished. Location very convenient for bus and airport link, and a short walk to the centre via the escalators in the historic fortress which was unique. Generous buffet breakfast. Helpful staff at reception.

The WiFi was very unreliable. The room lacked basic things like a kettle and tea & coffee making facilities which is expected in hotel which markets itself as 4 stars. The mineral water in the room was chargeable at €2.50 per very small bottle. The breakfast room was understaffed and quite badly managed - lots of uncleared tables. The luggage storage area at reception was unsupervised which was concerning in terms of security.

Great location on the edge of the old town next to the bus station. Very comfortable room and nice bathroom. Spacious and light public areas in the hotel.

The hotel has been very recently and skillfully renovated. The rooms are bright and clean, and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are modern and well-lit, with walk-in showers, bidets, heated towel racks, etc. The rooms are spotless. There is a decent gym. The included breakfast is very pleasant - lots of baked goods, etc. The location is perfect - just outside of the ZTL and easy to find. The Rocca Paolina is a 2-minute walk. From there, you can take an escalator right up into the center of the centro storico. The Partigiani parking garage is convenient to the hotel.

We arrived at 1:30pm and were not allowed to check in before the official time of 3pm. Of course the hotel doesn’t have to, but it would have been nice. Difficult to think there wasn’t a room available, it looked very quiet.

The restaurant service and meal for Christmas Eve dinner was not what we expected. Food was cold and service was slow. We didn’t eat there for any meal except breakfast which was included in the booking.

Rooms were clean and spacious and the location was perfect for day trips. The staff at the reception desk were kind and helpful.

The staff was not rude, but they were also not very nice and informative. For instance, we did not get any instructions for breakfast and for the swimming pool. I think it would be possible to get a better hotel with less money, so I will probably try to find another place next time.

Right next to Perugia’s central bus station, Sangallo Palace Hotel is a very nice hotel with a beautiful on-site restaurant. The staffs were very friendly and always ready to assist with any requests.. The room was spacious, clean, warm, and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good, offering vast selections on hot food, cold cuts, pastries, fruits, and fresh juice. Wifi was very fast

Good location, parking 15 Euro at hotel carpark. Only 200 meter to the great escalator system to the old center. Breakfast also good. Even dinners were good in the restaurant, which is also frequented by locals, which is a good sign.
