Excellent location, in walking distance to most attractions in Catania. The host Riccardo communicated with me on WhatsApp before the day of arrival so we know everything would be fine. He met us at the Holiday Home and helped us with the luggage up to a flight of stairs to the apartment. He gave us various suggestions about restaurant, sites to visit, and supermarket. He was very nice and friendly. The apartment was large, clean and comfortable. The WIFI in the apartment was super fast (a speed-test showed about 400 mbps).

The modern centrally located flat was in excellent condition. Beds were very comfortable and the modern kitchen was adequate for our stay. A short walk to all central areas means we never had to use public transport. Many restaurants bars and cafes nearby. The good soundproofing means we were not bothered by the traffic. Good internet connection with modern TV's in each room. Riccardo provided information on the surrounding facilities and met us on both arrival and departure as well as arranging a taxi to the airport.

We were two couples that cooperated well to accommodate needs using the small bathroom. A fold down shelf and more hooks would be an excellent addition.

Terrifiic host. Beautiful, comfortable, well stocked home in a perfect location for visiting Catania. We were pleasantly surprised how well the windows sealed out noise from the street and bar below. Our ability to see the car parking below helped us. We sometimes parked outside legal lines for an hour (as locals do) then moved within the blue lines when possible. Might be more challenging in high season.

The contact before arrival and both owners being there to meet us on arrival full of energy giving us an Italian insight that informed our plans for the week. Apartment was spacious, bright and spotlessly clean. Very well equipped and the finishing touches (coffee, cakes etc) were really appreciated. WOW shower in the morning! The location was just brilliant for us; all sights in Catania were within walking distance as were public transport and tourist type excursions. The hosts who were always there if we needed them.

This is a personal preference: as a woman I missed some space in the bathroom where I could put my skincare and makeup - perhaps a shelf. The second bedroom is near the entrance so you can hear people coming and going downstairs - some of them slam the door at 5am..

The apartment is spectacularly furnished, every single detail was thought of. Impeccable, beautiful design. Fully equipped kitchen, coffee machines with capsules, tea and a complimentary bottle of prosecco as well as mini pastry and shower gels. A TV in every room - both bedrooms and living room. Incredible soundproof windows as Catania can be a bit loud. The location: spectacular, within 5 mins you can reach all the main sights. When it’s hot, this can be especially handy. Riccardo and Claudia were the friendliest hosts making sure we had everything we needed, and even gave some tips on where to eat out.

Bathroom is a little cramped. Flat is perfect for two people but not sure I would be as comfortable with four adults, especially sharing one small bathroom. There is one flight of stairs up to the apartment, easy to climb and not a problem but could be for anyone with mobility issues.

Great host, always helpful and available. Very nice apartment, well equipped with everything. Great location right in the centre. Flat is soundproof so no disturbance during the noisy night. Loved standing out on the balcony at night watching the Catania nightlife pass by.

From our first contact with Riccardo our stay was stress free. The location was close to the things we had time to explore and the apartment was very comfortable. Riccardo helped us with our bags up the stairs, not all places will do that and organised a taxi to take us to the airport when we were ready to go. He also gave us lots of ideas of what to do. If you stay here you will not be disappointed. A big thank you to Riccardo for making our stay a positive one.

There was nothing not to like, the apartment was perfect!

The host Riccardo was amazing went through everything and checked in via text to make sure we were happy with everything and if we needed anything. The apartment was modern and very clean with all the comforts and very well presented. Location was excellent and parking was not an issue.

Really clean and nice looking apartment. Great location and with soundproof windows so it was quiet even though we were by a main street. Really friendly and helpful host Riccardo. Would highly recommend for anyone staying in Catania. Near lots of shops, restaurants and a lot of the main tourist sites in Catania. Good base to travel to Taormina or Siracuse as it is relatively near the train station and lots of tour agencies.

WOW !!!! This property is the epitome of luxury & comfort. So much thought into every detail / need, from ear plugs to triple glazing. Lovely sofa (or either bed, ps - so comfy ) in front of Netflix - much appreciated after a long day exploring this historic city. Great coffees abundant, welcoming edible gifts even a bottle of bubbles in the fridge. Ample little kitchen for cooking up something. Excellent shower with toiletries. Riccardo & his lovely team greeted us on arrival offering great local info - so welcoming, thank you for that ! Perfectly placed just around the corner to most historic sites too. Sangiuliano holiday home is a real treat - absolutely NOT to be missed.
