Carrying luggage to 4th floor was a bit difficult but it’s not a big problem

We loved this place and will definetely recommended it but people need to know is on the 4th floor and there is no lift. We walked up and down those stairs at least 3 times a day but we took it as exercise and enjoyed them. If you dont have good legs probably not the place for you.

The building looks very good, is very clean overall, large stairs, but if you have a lot or heavy luggages might be unconfortable without an elevator. Host offered to help; the overall experience made us feel this aspect as just a minor minus aspect

It's on the 4th floor but the views are worth it.

The studio apartment was clean and fresh with amazing views! The bathroom was spacious and modern. The kitchen was small but also modern. The windows are sound proof which is great especially as it's overlooking the town. Air-conditioning was a God send, especially after a long day at the beach. There's nothing more you will need other than food if you're staying 2 weeks or more. Highly recommended 👌

Perfect apartment in the centre of Tropea! We couldn’t have asked for a better apartment to spend 5 nights in. It was modern, spacious, clean and very comfortable. Every detail was thought of with a safe, well equipped kitchen and our hosts even surprised us with rose petals on the bed and Prosecco as we were on our honeymoon! The apartment balcony overlooked the city and ocean and was just beautiful to sit and have a coffee in the morning or wine to watch the sunset. We were walking distance to everything (beach, restaurants, cafes, supermarket, train station etc etc) and we loved every minute of our stay at Sapore Di Sale!!! Thank you so much for having us, we would definitely stay again!!!

There are four flights of stairs and sometimes on our way up, if we were not quick enough, the lights in the stairway would go off, during the night leaving us in complete darkness, as they must be set on a timer. The first time it happened, it was unsettling, but not a huge problem just be prepared to turn on your cell flashlight.

Great location and the most beautiful view from the balconies. The apartment is newly renovated, it is clean and contains all the comforts and necessary equipment for preparing a meal. The host was prompt in communicating and answering our questions regarding parking, etc. We found a free parking stall in the parking lot and then did not move the car for two days, exploring on foot as the entire town and beaches is easily walkable from the apartment.

Everything about Sapore di Sale is modern and new, and the host was friendly and helpful. It was perfect. The apartment is larger than the photos show, and the layout was better than we expected. I was able to get up in the middle of the night to read or snack or just look out over the town without disturbing my companion in the bedroom. There are two air conditioners, one in the bedroom and one in the kitchen area, but we seldom used them even though it was unseasonably hot during our 7 day stay in late June. The kitchen balcony faces North out to sea, while the bedroom balcony faces East over the historic center. When we opened the doors to the two balconies, it allowed a refreshing cross breeze through the entire apartment. Great for sleeping. Well stocked kitchen. Nice bathroom with big shower. There are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and small markets in the street below, as well as a stairway leading down to the beaches. The rocky outcrop of the sanctuary casts shade east or west depending on the time of day, so you can choose a sandy beach in the sun or shade depending on your preference. There was a wall safe to secure our valuables so we could spend days at the beach without worry about our documents etc. I would certainly stay here again. It was an enjoyable experience.
