Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomShower pressure is poor; water just dribbles out, so difficult to take a proper shower. Some communication issues. We had requested dropping off luggage earlier (and had email acceptance of this) but no one was there when we arrived! There were 4 doorbells (but no sign to indicate which was the actual property, so we weren't sure how to access the building) We had to ring for the owner to let us in, which took 20mins. Be aware that the room is in an old building and you can hear a lot of noise(doors slamming, neighbours tv and footsteps above you) I’d advise ear plugs. There’s no sea view, as advertised
The room is good value for money Large bed, though strange clicking noise each time you move! There are lots of complimentary toiletries in the bathroom, like shower gel and hairspray Free coffee available, in a little shared kitchen Within walking distance of the beach, shops, cafes, great bakery and supermarket. It’s an interesting neighbourhood, with a community feel.

GermanyNot able to enjoy the kitchen because my food would disappear from the fridge in the matter of hours or overnight. I understood that on the very first day so I stopped buying food that needed refrigeration. Still, I got pissed by the fact that I was not able to drink cold water in summer because my bottles would always disappear...
Despite it was a shared house, there was space for everyone and intimacy. The atmosphere was quiet and respectful at night. The house was clean and with many details like a hair dryer, soap and shampoo in the bathroom, or kitchen basics like coffee, oil, salt, alu foil... available.

SloveniaThe seagulls were a pain. Not the properties problem, but damn there are some units roaming around. One pulled an antenna out a car!
The lady working there (not sure if owner) was super kind, even though she didn’t speak perfect English she made an effort to help us with everything and was just the nicest. Cleaned the place every morning. The place is located just between the (nice) beach and the city centre so everything is really walking distance if the heat doesn’t stop you.

The bathrooms were always spotless and you could smell the cleaning products always around. I would definitely recommend the place for a comfortable stress free stay.

Helpful owner. Nice and relaxing place to stay. In a nice area near the beach, but also near the port, train station and lots of shops and restaurants, gelaterias, etc. Good transport links to places such as Erice and San Vito lo Capo, once you find the bus stop.
