This was our first time in Cinque Terre, and we were not sure exactly where would be best to stay, but we wanted a location in the heart of everything in Riomaggiore. We were so fortunate to find this place. It is a modern, spacious, well appointed apartment that was exactly as it had been described. It was perfect for a couple wanting to take in the romance and beauty of this region. The location was absolutely ideal. It is right on the main walk to the harbor, has easy access to the train station, has a market right around the corner, and Michelin starred restaurant (Rio Bistrot) right across from the balcony that overlooks the harbor, and an adjacent espresso shop which was perfect for the mornings. Unlike many accommodations we had heard about, there were not a lot of steps to climb, so access was easy. Our hostess, Paola, was so kind and gracious. She had thought of everything and made sure we were well taken care of. She even had water delivered when a nearby pipe burst causing loss of water services temporarily. This was truly the perfect location, and an absolute gem for lodging. We will be back.

Our host Paola made an amazing location/hotel room into an extraordinary experience right from the start. We hiked into Riomaggiore but the weather turned very bad after a few miles of hiking so we ended up coming into town early by train... Paola met us early with some warning via text, and helped us get into our room 2 hrs ahead of schedule to get warm and dry. Beyond that, the location was perfect, the room was amazing and wonderful for two people; literally right across from a Michelin restaurant, and several wonderful spots within a stones throw nearby. The view from the balcony was great and a really nice way to listen to the hustle and bustle of the town center while having your privacy and sipping some wine. Absolutely loved the stay we had!

Location with water views from balcony. Fantastic original property that has been tastefully modernised inside but still preserving beams 100s of years old. Property manager Paola guided us to the property and provided tips for restaurants.

The location was unreal. Terrace with a view of the water. Clean and modern accommodations. Very helpful property manager. She not only met us to walk us over to the property she was helpful with local suggestions and was available through What's App for any questions we had about logistics during our entire stay and was very responsive.

The wifi didn’t work at all. It would connect but had no internet, the room also has no cell reception unless you are on the balcony. The tv also had no connection to internet for Netflix and no free to air. However wasn’t a huge deal as we weren’t there for long.

The location at Riomaggiore was amazing. It is right by the water and there were plenty of places to eat around. Our host, Paola, was also very friendly and helpful to us. She recommended many places for us to eat, and also showed us where location of shops/food places were around Rio and Manarola.

Maybe a ‘real’ oven rather than a combi microwave, but other than that everything was perfect

Having spent as many years trying to get here this did not disappoint. The area is very beautiful, every corner you turn is like a picture postcard, including the fantastic view from the balcony Paola has been an excellent host with immediate responses and great information, and the apartment is clean, well equipped and such a wonderful location. We have had an amazing time and would highly recommend everything!

Slight noise from the train.

Amazing place in an amazing location. Beautifully decorated, very clean. Great air conditioning! Paola was a great host and left us some snacks and wine to help us celebrate our engagement. Bed super comfy! Wish we could have stayed longer!
