the room was a bit dark, but that also meant we were not awaken too early. a bit smelly the entrance, humidity odor. the wifi was a bit weak,

the host was quite friendly, nearby cafe supermarket and snack bar excellent.

the kitchen could be better equipted (maybe add a toaster or microwave). its an induction kitchen but the pans were not, so they gave us a plate you could place to make the pans work, it took me forever to cook an egg so I decided to use the only induction pan in the kitchen and boiled eggs for breakfast. they could also place a toaster and wine opener, more trash bags and toilet paper. I stayed for 9 nights and needed to ask the host... he was really nice, but I felt uncomfortable needing to ask more for more paper. That can easily be placed in the kitchen cabinnet., The internet connection did not work, only if you stay near the entrance door to be able to connect, that should be improved, place a wifi repetidor in the corridor.

I really like the communication with the hots and how fast he responded to all my questions. The check in instructions were super easy to follow, and got with no problem to the apartment The apartment was GREAT, great aircon machine, spacious bathroom, big closet, super close to the supermarket, bus stations, little food chops.

I was expecting a patio a small space to sit but it was the entrance of the apartments Other guests using the stairs and the bins and cleaner’s equipment piled up It could easily be made nice

I liked the location in the local neighbourhood with a wonderful bakery on the corner and a supermarket and a local Sunday market A ten minute walk to the train/bus station to visit other towns and a ten minute walk over to Ortiga The host was friendly and helpful and I felt secure and safe It was quiet to sleep at night

Free parking at the street. Good location: 600 meters walking to the entrance of Ortigia , incoop supermarket and bakery near by. Excellent "milk and coffee" bar is about 100 meters walking- perfect for breakfast. Suitable for families with 1-2 children

The douche cabin could use some more thorough cleaning but it was larger and more comfortable than in most places in Italy I've stayed in which is really a big plus. Apart from this it was a great place!

Very nice place. The host responded very quickly and we could do an early self check-in. The apartment was on 2 floors and cozy. The location was perfect for our purposes - close to the train station and 15 min away from the downtown area.

The wifi connection in my room was only so-so, but as I was only staying for one night this wasn't a huge problem.

Siké apartments was perfectly located for my purposes, right in between the bus stop and train station on the one hand and Ortigia as well as the corso on the other. The room was spacious, quiet and cool at night, and exceptionally clean, and the bed was very comfy.

Apartment was good, private bathroom, kitchen. The only one thing that bothered me is the smell in that apartment (like wet things that were in the aprtment for a long time). First night it was impossible to sleep without opened window but then sicilian mosquitos almost ate me. Quite close to the famous area so you can go there by the walk.

I've been trying to deal with the issue for the past month with no response from booking so far. When we came to the flat it was late at night and we found the room smelling a bit funny. We thought maybe it's because it wasn't aired for long time, so we left windows open for the night and left for a trip early morning. Once we got back to the flat and went shower I started noticing mould on the ceiling. Then I noticed that the mould is visibly growing (like literally puffs of mould) on the edges of the door in the bathroom. Went out to check with the light from my phone the rest of the flat as the flat is very dark, and mould was everywhere, the kitchen, the bedroom, everywhere. Once I saw all this and realised that the weird smell was mould I contacted the host and informed them that this is safety hazard that I wasn't informed about before coming. My complaints were dismissed in a very rude tone and I was gaslighted and called a scammer because I didn't pay them the tourist tax. Of course I didn't and I'd asked full payback for this quite pricey I must say place which didn't even meet basic safety standards...

Newly renovated attic apartment. Very tastefully furnished. Small skylights but plenty of light when opened. Common terrace with a view for all rooms, but it was upstairs, next to my room, so no one went there except me 😁

Weak to inexistent wifi connection. As an Airbnb like room, poor information and tips about the city/no interactions.

Location is perfect, next to affordable restaurant and supermarket. Quiet neighbourhood. Apartement is comfortable and clean, what we need for two days in Syracuse.
