The drive up to the property is pretty treacherous. So if you’re not used to driving up narrow hills, it can be a bit scary.

Amazing view of Cefalu from the property, had a pool, and offered meals as well for a price.

The road is windy to get up, but I didn’t have any issues with it and there is no other way to see the gorgeous view. There is a cab driver that can take you to Cefalù for 16 euro each way.

The view is unbeatable. There are nice areas by the pool and decks to chill out in. You can see sunrise and sunset from the overlook. The hospitality is also wonderful by the hosts.

Need to be a confident driver to navigate the access road but we managed.

Great view, the staff were very helpful. The pool was great. The rooms were very clean and we could sit outside as a group and enjoy a drink and the sunset.. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Pizza delivery was useful.

View to Cefalu is staning, the place is really amazing. Rooms are organized very carefully with every detail and are clean. We havw the own terase. By the pool is a nice place for relax. The staff was very pleasent and give us every useful inormation about living, visiting surrander of the place,the old town and eating outside. We really enjoy staying there. Very recomanded

A car is definitely an advantage, even if the drive up can be adventurous and sometimes nerve-wracking. But it is absolutely doable and well worth it. There is a great taxi service that takes you up and down.

Everyone was exceptional helpful, attentive and friendly and made our stay the highlight of our trip. The grounds are well maintained and designed with great attention to detail. The breakfast with a view of Cefalù is wonderful and delicious. You don't want to leave the resort, it's so beautiful and you feel so comfortable there. We really enjoyed our stay and could really switch off and unwind. We will definitely visit again!

Skyview is located in the most wonderful position over looking Cefalú.Accommodation was clean spacious private veranda and the pool we nice. Very lovely owner he was friendly and helpful. So well looked after property. Wished we had stayed longer.

Driving up the steep and narrow road is a challenge. But hey, I managed it several times, and it's worth it!

The view is amazing, it was the first reason why I booked at this place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great veranda and poolside terrace, all with beautiful view over Cefalù. Ranking in my list of best ever places.

The only downsides we found were that breakfast wasn't included (but Skyview is more like holiday apartments / rooms than a hotel or pension - and breakfast options are available). Also, the overal setup at Skyview is a little impersonal: we felt the effort put into branding took away from the warmth and otherwise amazing vibe you get from such beautiful surroundings. But that's really a question of personal taste.

The location of Skyview is exceptional, with astounding views on Cefalu and the bay. From what I read in other comments, some guests thought the steep drive up to the property was tough. My take is that it's really not a problem at all : the road is wide enough for cars to pass each other, and there are mirrors on every sharp bend. But hey, I'm not American ! :) Staff was extremely accommodating and quick to respond. The terraces and pool area are superb.

The view is absolutely gorgeous. The room had a nice patio were you can enjoy a great coffee in the morning or a glass of Prosecco by night. The staff is really friendly and helpful. If you want to go by car, make sure you are an experienced driver, as the road is pretty narrow and steep.

The road leading to Skyview Cefalu was a narrow, winding track . . . some would refer to as a road with several hair-pin bends and only room for one car going one way. Our manual, diesel car, stalled, several times due to the steep grade. Eventually we arrived at the property and were amazed by the stunning views of Cefalu. Consequently, the thought of driving into Cefalu the next day filled us with trepidation and the real possibility of damaging our hire car. It was thus decided to take a return taxi fare (one way 15 euros) since we needed to do some shopping. However, due to the time required for a taxi to arrive at our “Tibetan “ location we decided to take the risk and drive into the town, which, being downhill all the way was a little easier. Driving back was only accomplished by leaving the car in first gear and praying to god that there were very few cars on the road during our brief journey home. The major disadvantage with staying at this impressive property was its isolation from the town of Cefalu. Obtaining normal things such as milk, bread, butter and orange juice, etc were going to prove expensive to buy, especially if hiring a taxi to and from the town. The only irritating thing that occurred during our stay was the operation of a sensor light located outside the bathroom.

The rooms in the apartment were spacious, especially the large bedroom and the comfortable bed. There was sufficient wardrobe space and a large 4 seater couch, fridge and a wonderful gas cook top . . so much easier to operate than electricity. The bathroom was of a good size, with the shower providing plenty of hot water at good pressure. However, there needed to be more than one towel rack. In regard to the unit, apart from the table and four chairs and 4 seated sofa directly on the verandah outside our front door, there was also a small private terrace outside our bedroom containing a table and chairs and a 4 seated sofa.

It’s a shame there are no restaurants in walking distance - (the very steep windy road leading to the property would not be good to walk up / down!) we were aware of this before we booked though and it wasn’t a problem driving to dinner for 1 night.

Lovely comfortable room. We also had a kitchen area which was shared with one other room which I wasn’t expecting! Beautiful view and nice pool area.
