Wonderful stay whilst we were in Rome. The staff were always on hand and super helpful with directions, suggestions, locations etc. Not far to walk from main tourist sites, located close to the train station. Gabriel was really helpful. The balcony was such a bonus lovely place to enjoy a drink and read after a long day walking round the city.

There isn't anything that I didn't like about it.

Every member of the staff were terrific from checkin to checkout. Abdul, Flo and Gabrielle were so attentive and accommodating with suggestions for eating out, directions, bus information, always with a smile. The housemaids were cheerful and very sweet. Our room was large and spotlessly clean. It was very comfortable and we loved spending mornings and evenings on the rooftop Terrace. We felt like it was home each day when we returned from our outings. The accommodation was conveniently located close to the railway station and we always felt safe. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

I knocked one point off. It would have been great to have breakfast provision, even a simple one. It was not a big deal as plenty local cafes to use.

The staff were excellent throughout, always checking in via whatsapp. We were also provided with a discount voucher for a local restaurant, a breakfast box and 2 glasses if proseco for the roof terrace.

I am the most picky particular traveler and I cannot say enough good about this hotel! Not only the location was excellent but the staff went above and beyond. From making you feel welcome and giving you all of the tips to make you feel safe and comfortable. Flo and staff went out of there way to greet you even when they saw you walking on the street! I spent my birthday at Sophie Terrace and upon arrival they greeted me with a happy birthday along with Prosecco. As someone who has traveled all around the world I cannot recommend this place enough.

Nothing. The room was spotless clean as was entrance to hotel and front desk/reception area. Our room had a deep step up/down to the area where bed was located and we thought it could be helpful/safer if the one step up/down had a dim light to “mark it” during night… this is simply a suggestion as we are in our 60’s and conscientious of falls. There may have been a dim night light to mark the step up/down and we just didn’t know how to turn it on/off. Again this is just a suggestion as the room and hotel was very nice and we enjoyed our stay!

Location was very convenient to Roma Termini train station and Subway entrance. The room was larger than anticipated and very clean! Communications with hotel staff via WhatsApp was easy and convenient. Front desk was manned 24/7. Staff member “Flo” at front desk was very personable and helpful during our stay and our exit transfer via taxi to a hotel near FCO airport for our early morning departure flight. Breakfast was a box meal for us and was typical Italian pastries and fruit, very nicely boxed and fresh. Shower was large and water pressure and temperature perfect! The hotel front door utilized a security code entrance which felt very secure. We walked to many nearby places and felt safe all times of day and late night. We also utilized subway which was clean and easy and a couple taxi rides (from Vatican as we were tired and to our hotel near FCO airport which Flo organized for us and at our request pushed back an hour from initial reservation taxi time). Hotel stored our bags on last day from check out time 10am to 7:30pm to allow us whole day of freedom to visit sites! City photos shared are views from the roof top terrace! We chose a room that did not have a city or garden view… room was very quiet! I would recommend a stay at Sophie Terrace Hotel.

Travelled with two young kids. Rooms were as shown in pictures. Clean and comfy. The customer service and the constant communication with guest is exceptional. Flo was great in explaining and sharing details of Rome (including sharing hidden gems). Close to lots of eateries (walking distance) as well as two metros (Termini and Repubblica). Highly recommended. And not to forget the rooftop terrace that offers a serene atmosphere.

Shelves in the bathroom and rods in the closet area were way too high. If I was traveling by myself I would not have been able to reach the bath towels or hair dryer.

Close to Termini. Very clean, modern hotel. Staff was excellent and responsive to every request. Rooms were very nicely furnished. Many good restaurants in the area. A nice rooftop terrace with a view of the city.

We’ve stayed at this hotel for the past few days. Sadly, we’re leaving tomorrow. Our stay was fabulous, mostly because of the non-stop low-key service of the people working here. They all try their absolute best to make your stay as pleasent as possible. The rooms have everything you need and the AC is great. We loved to have our morning cappuccino at the roof terrace. If we come back to Rome, we’ll surely come back to this hotel!

Room and elevators are tight squeeze with luggage - doable and fair for the price. Noise and comfort level are not quite as good as we experienced elsewhere but I think part of that is determined by location.

Chose for location - super easy walk to Roma Termini station. Staff was amazing, super helpful and attentive. Sent us great recommendations for restaurants, provided welcome drink, roof terrace.

The location is located just blocks from the train station, which worked great for us however know it's about a 20-45 min walk to all major attractions.

The staff was the standout for this hotel. Gabriel greeted us upon check in and brought up complimentary prosecco on the rooftop. He gave us restaurant recommendations that were wonderful, ordered taxi's, and frequently checked in via whatsApp to make sure we had everything we needed. All the other staff members were equally as wonderful! The guestroom was lovely and the rooftop terrace was amazing, especially at night after a long day to relax. Drinks (that come with complimentary snacks) are available for purchase at very reasonable prices. They provided delicious pastries and cappuccino in the morning complimentary as well! We stayed at 4 different hotels during our trip to Italy, and though some were more modern or had more "stars" this was our favorite experience. Grazie for a fabulous stay in Roma!

Honestly, there was nothing we didn't like about it. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Our stay at the Sophie Terrace Hotel was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, the personable staff made us feel right at home. The rooftop terrace was stunning, offering breathtaking views that we enjoyed every evening. Our room was comfortable and quiet, providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring Rome. We had to change hotels due to an incident at our first arranged hotel and booked the Sophie Terrace last minute. Boy, are we glad we did! It turned out to be the best hotel experience. If we find ourselves back in Rome, we will book the Sophie Terrace immediately. Highly recommend!

The only suggestion would be better signage at the front of the hotel, we walked past without realising. I'm not sure how accessible the entrance would be if you were unable to use the steps.

Close to the train station and within walking distance of most attractions. The room was clean and ready early, which was perfect as we had a trip booked and were able to check in and leave our luggage in the room before heading out. The staff went above and beyond and couldn't have been more helpful. They use What's App to communicate and are more than happy to receive messages whenever you have questions, always responding promptly. Flo sent us restaurant recommendations and suggestions of traditional Roman food to try. They also gave us tips to stay safe. It was a bonus to receive complimentary prosecco and a breakfast box one morning. The rooftop is lovely. We just couldn't really take advantage of it because of the weather. We loved our stay, made more enjoyable by the attentive staff. Would recommend and stay again.

Flo at reception took care of our every need-- he was so accommodating and supportive. The hotel was a nice little haven in the middle of a busy area in Rome, and was perfect for a night after traveling back on the train. We could not have been more impressed with the level of service.
