Nothing, it was perfect!

The Stella Della is located perfectly in the heart of old town Monterroso. Charming little gem of a hotel! But the shining star is Gabriel, the owner who wears all the hats. What a lovely, caring and attentive man. Rooms are spotless and charming with comfortable beds and well stocked bathrooms. Breakfast on the top floor is exceptional. An easy walk to anywhere you’d like to go… Restaurants, shopping, beach and the train station. Gabriel is equipped with all the recommendations to enjoy your stay.

A small thing no tea and coffee in your room

The location was amazing.The rooms were so nice and Gabriele was so lovely . He went over the top to make you feel so welcome and nothing was a problem. The restaurants he recommended were so good too. Cant wait to go back

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and all that the cinque terre had to offer. Gabriele was so kind and helpful! He made us feel so welcome. Stella Della marina is very quaint. We had the balcony room with a great view of the neighborhood.

Gabriele for president! He can do anything… carry your bags up flights of stairs? He can do it on a moments notice. Remember your drink order every morning at breakfast? He’s got that too! 😂 This hotel is a dream. The location, view, accommodations, and hospitality are unmatched.

The owner was absolutely amazing. He carried all our luggage up to our top floor room and we had a lot of luggage as we were traveling for 3 months. He also constantly made sure we had everything we needed and arranged dinner and transportation. The breakfast was fantastic with a large variety and very fresh. After the first day the owner knew exactly what we wanted to drink and was always prepared to serve it. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of old town close to everything. Thanks for an amazing week.

Great location in Monterosso (we recommend to live in Monterosso of all the villages). The host/owner of the hotel is so helpful, nice and funny! He will guide you to the best restaurants. Good breakfast with excellent coffee. Our room was big. Confy beds (not hard).

Breakfast had a fair variety of options, including some local types of sweets - it also offered an amazing view of the beach and part of the old town. The location is also amazing, being about 10 min walking from the train station, and 5 from the beach itself, being right by the main street, it offered a large variety of places to have a nice dinner at. The room we stayed also had an incredible view of the beach, making up for a breathtaking image to wake up to, being very clean and with a great air-conditioning system as well as including well-preserved/new furniture - although you did pay the price of some climbing some stairs, it was definitely worth it! Lastly, the host (Gabrielle) was very friendly and helpful, passing out a lot of local info.
