No elevator, and all rooms are on upper floors.

The owner, Gabrielle, treated us like family. The breakfast on a room on the roof was delicious and with a great view of the ocean.

The place itself and some of the furniture is outdated but that’s it (not badly outdated either)

Staff at check in was beyond friendly. They were also very helpful throughout my stay. Couldn’t have been in a better location. The hotel and rooms are very very clean. The water pressure in the shower was very good too (an unspoken luxury in Italy).

Located very close to shops and restaurants. Lovely view from room 5. Beautiful clean room with places to put suitcases. Amazing host who came to find us to show us where to go and even carried my suitcase up the stairs!

While not a problem for us, people should be aware that you need to walk up 4 flights of steps to get to the rooms Gabriel bought our luggage to the room without us asking

Central location, easy walk to the train station and the beach. It was easy to visit all the towns in the Cinque Terre from this location, the hotel is near the trailhead. As a solo traveler I found both the town and hotel very safe. The room was a good size and modern. I was in Italy for 2 weeks; this was my favorite hotel. The manager was very helpful and gave great recommendations with a map. The breakfast was wonderful and came with an ocean view. The shower was an American style, with lots of room. I had an early train, and the manager was very accommodating checking me out the night before. I would recommend this hotel and plan to visit again!

The property is nearby a church that rings multiple times a day so an afternoon siesta was a little difficult.

It was spacious and well-kept. It was conveniently located near a lot of great restaurants. The host is exceptionally kind and accommodating which made the stay even better.

The location in Old Town is near restaurants, shopping and the Cinque Terra trail head. Our room was large and comfortable. Beautiful views from the Breakfast room. The breakfast was wonderful. The manager/owner of this hotel was so helpful. He provided information about local restaurants, train schedules, and trails.

Nice place to stay near to the only sand beach in Monterosso. Breakfast was wonderful, fresh fruits, bakary, coffee, juices, cheese, even bacon and meat stuff. The owner is EXTREMELY polite and helpful.

Small bathroom and small shower. Lots of stairs to upper rooms but Gabriele helped with my luggage.

Close to the train station, the beach and all of old town, the location was perfect (walk through the tunnel after the train station not up over the steep steps). The accommodations were pretty basic and there are stairs (lots to the upper rooms) but it has a lovely terrace. What made the stay exceptional for me was Gabriele. He went out of his way to make sure everything was good. For the price point for Cinque Terre and the nice beach, I would definitely recommend.
