Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNothing, I absolutely recommend this hotel for a stay in Rome. I would also like to note that I am a woman of colour who was staying with her younger sister and they made us feel incredibly safe, welcome and comfortable.
The breakfast included was to our tastes - eggs, bacon, bread rolls, pastries, sweet treats and cereal (everything you may need) which you could have on the balcony which was a nice touch. The room was spacious and clean, ac worked perfectly and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and has a rain shower, towels are included. Location is incredible, you are right in the centre of the tourist sites and the metro and taxi stand are right up the road. The restaurants on the street itself are not great but if you venture a couple of streets away, you can find some really nice food. I need to make a note of the service because the staff went above and beyond for us - it's the little things. The woman who served us coffee in the morning for breakfast (I didn't catch her name) made an effort to remember our order and noticed when we were missing at breakfast and whoever was at reception was always incredibly helpful e.g. our flight was early and so we missed breakfast. He booked us a taxi and made up breakfast bags for us to take to the airport.

United StatesFeels more like a 3 star hotel than 4 star. Although this is newer than their other property, some rooms seeing some wear and tear. Paper cups in room and bathroom do not feel like luxury and staff in the main hotel were okay but not overall friendly or welcoming which I expect from a four star hotel.
Complimentary water every day and enjoyed breakfast on the enclosed terrace. Large bathroom and liked the waterfall shower. Also given this is a separate entrance from the main hotel, it is very secure with having to swipe into enter the main doors and then again to get into your floor. Good location to Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps but a little further from the historic city center like Piazza Navona and the Travestere neighborhood (20 min walk).

PortugalBad breakfast, You better eat outside. If you arrive by car - there is no space to unload luggage, you have to block the entire street. Rooms are quite dusty- cleaning should be improved. Rome hotels prices are exorbitant and this one is not exception.
Well furnished and spacious rooms.

Breakfast could be with more kind of food and fresh fruits, vegetable and all the and all bakery products (cookies, rolls, etc.) If you come between 8:30-9:30, you will need to wait outside. The staff tried to help but it is very small and no place for all the guests.

JordanThe hotel was not stroller accessible as the gate lift in the suites building was not working. We had to hold the stroller every time we leave the hotel or arrive to it. The elevator was too tight and we hardly used it with a stroller and the two of us. It was too slow and time consuming to wait for it when hotel is fully booked. Breakfast was barely okay but below expectations, very minimal options and mostly all italian ( sweet desserts ) we stayed in another 4 star hotel in Rome after and breakfast variety was much better . The corridor between rooms was too tight we had to call housekeeping to move their equipment every time we want to pass with a stroller. We booked a family suite and it turned out that building is not in the main hotel building, it only served ala la carte breakfast in a very small room. It was not an issue as we had the option to walk out to the main building to have the buffet breakfast. Bed covers were not comfortable at all
The location of the hotel is perfect; walking distance to almost all attractions in Rome. The staff were super friendly and helpful specially that we traveled with a baby. Rimona ( breakfast staff ) was super super helpful and kind! Rooms were very nice and toilets were very new and modern, bedroom was dark though as window was only facing the rooms corridor and we could never open it. It's more like an indoor window.
