How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Only that the Wi-Fi was a bit hit and miss but it didn’t bother us too much.
The pool was lovely. We ate dinner there one evening and it was great, local menu with very generous helpings! The room was lovely, looking in to the courtyard and the atmosphere was very quiet and relaxing.

it is a beautiful property with amazing views. the rooms are good, you have everything you need. the pool is nice and refreshing during a hot summer day. I really recommend the dinner menu to try. it’s super good!

It would be nice to find some local cheese, tomatoes etc in the breakfast for international visitors.
This farm place is just awesome, a beauty in the middle of nature. They cultivate some of the products by themselves and serve it during the lunch and dinner. We also enjoyed the swimming pool, even if it was cold in the beginning of June. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast is served directly on the table with yogurt, some pieces of cake, jam, a piece of fruit and fruit juice.

we we’re lucky to have just two other visitors it may be a bit small when. crowded

The swimming pool in the courtyard was unnecessary and inappropriate in a farm.
The attractive, traditional courtyard in peaceful countryside immediately conveys that this is a special place to stay. The owners were very thoughtful in providing for my wife’s needs (coeliac, no gluten) and the meals were very good. Hearing birdsong from one’s bed at night was a delight (Woodlark, Quail and Stone Curlew.)

We didn’t know that the kitchen was closed on Sunday so we had to drive to the nearest restaurant instead of eating in the agriturismo
It’s a serene place. The surrounding is very beautiful. After 2 days in Cagliari this was exactly what we needed!

I cannot think of anything. Be prepared only Italian speaking staff , like in many other agriturismo. But friendliness will overcome all language barriers.
Beautiful building with a swimming pool in the courtyard. Spacious and tasteful room. Dinner was lovely. Absolute silence, only the sound of the wind. Close to main entrances of the high land park. Hostess is very caring and sympathetic.

The Wi-Fi connection didn’t work. There was no kettle, coffee/tea or cups in the room, only a fridge. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any soundproofing so you can hear the guests next door.
Great location, beautiful scenery, nice evening meals with local food. The swimming pool would be lovely in hot weather.

the gates were locked when I arrived so I had to find alternate accommodation. our flights were delayed so I tried to contact property by phone (no answer) and email (still no response). it was a very expensive trip as a consequence. they had no English and I had no Italian but they did not offer any compensation for the problem.

old furniture, small room,small tv, no wifi and poor internet. bfast very poor no selection at all! no menu in the restaurant and very expensive. For a small piece of pork belly already cooked because there was a function we’ve been charged 30€ and another day for some antipasto and ravioli without maincourse we’ve been charged 50€
