Apartment was not that well maintained. One of the sinks was stuck closed. Even bigger problem was a problem a non-functioning air-con. As can be imaged, this is not that convenient during the warm times of the year as even during midnight apartment temperature are over 27c. Opening the windows and doors of course helps, but due to vicinity to the road this will wake you in the mornings multiple times. While host was contacted regarding this, not much real help was offered even though guests trying multiple ways to solve this issue for the host. Without these issues, the stay would had been a perfect 10.

Lovely big and clean apartment and environment. Great small town with couple of restaurants and great views! Public Transportation boat leaves right next door few times a day, which is worth taking as it offers a great angle from the lake.

Finding a parkingspot nearby can be a challenge in peak season. Be aware that there are no grocery-stores in the village

First of all, the cleanliness was sub standard. There were stains of cups on the furniture and dead bugs. The bathroom is invaded by mold and there is a smell of mold in the whole place if the balcony door is closed. Those with allergiea to mold and duat should not choose this place.

We liked the location, and the view to the lake. The appartment is in an old building in the second level of the basement. The space in itself has just one room with a kitchenette and a sleeping loft, and a bathroom.

church bells right next to apartment start at 7:30am everyday can hear noise from apartment above clearly. was kept up until 3am one night iron steps up to bedroom are dangerous. only a handrail on one side so hard to get down no soap for bathroom and not enough toilet roll provided air con not working or cooker/grill

Firstly, the apartment was not clean, with black mold on the bath edge and the bed covers have not been washed before our arrival. For the price we paid for the apartment, one would expect that the apartment will be clean. Secondly, the pier is not operational at the moment, and one would have liked to be informed prior to our visit about that as we planned our trip accordingly. However, I will still recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a spacious apartment with great views.

It is a spacious apartment with a beautiful view on the lake. It has a very nice location. It is close to a bus station and the town is connected with the main route with a small street, which makes Brienno very nice little town on the edge of Lake Como.

Bedroom window faces the road so quite noisy. Also very hot in the apartment, better with windows open but creates more noise. You need your own transport to stay here.

The interior is on the simple side. The interior, bathroom in particular, could have been better appointed in order to match the unbeatable location and view, as well as the asking price.

The view is just fantastic. Guess this is the main selling point.

There was a church next to the apartment and there were bells ringing early in the morning. Bathroom could have been cleaner. There was no parking space near the apartment, you should always drive and walk back for at least 10..15 min.

Not essential utilities to cook (salt, oil, ), not a coffee machine. Low voltage so lights went off. Apartment was Very cold at all times, bath is uncomfortable since ceiling is very low.

The bathroom next to the kitchen was mouldy and it was smelly. The main bathroom toilet hadn’t been cleaned it was awful, there wasn’t a welcome pack such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, tea, coffee thin and the bath towels were thin and there were no washers. The main bedrooms mattress was thin and in poor condition, very uncomfortable and the sheets were also thin and poor quality and there were no blockout curtains. The second bedroom was exactly the same, such poor condition, one of the single bed didn’t have a cover on it making it unhygienic and all the springs came through so it was terrible to sleep on. This accommodation did not match the pricing as we had just stayed up the road 50 metres for the same money and it doesn’t compare. There was also no balcony in our apartment, as I was lead to believe from the booking photos and descriptions.

The kitchen was fully equipped and the family room was spacious, the view was spectacular.

The place needs a good scrubbing as far as cleaning services. I would fire the cleaning crew in a heartbeat—dust everywhere, hair on the bedsheets, old stained blankets, absolutely disgusting. The kitchen is unusable, all sticky, and smells about. The packets of soap/shampoo/body shower are cheap. I was embarrassed in front of my guests.

We booked for five travellers and there was only enough bedding and towels for four. It also failed to mention in the listing that the fifth bed (fold out couch) shares a room with one of the other beds so you had to share a room. We also had rubbish left over from the previous guests. Contacted the property after checkout because my phone wouldn’t work at Como and they were very rude and unhelpful

The town was quite small, no ferry, no market, only 1 or 2 options for food. We loved that feel but could see how someone might want more action or options. Very minimal amenities in the house (no hand soap, or shower soaps besides packets of shampoo)

The view from the terrace was amazing!! It was the best part of the property! We loved that the town was small and quiet. It felt so personal, but we were very happy we had a car to get to other towns.
