The property is very central to everything. Five minutes from the bus terminal and easy to find. Maria and Rosario couldn’t do enough for u. I am lactose intolerant and Maria gave me nice breakfast taking into account my diet. Robert my husband had Maria’s beautiful pistachio and chocolate cakes. We would come back again for the breakfast and warm welcome.

That we only stayed 2 nights before going Palermo (a run down grimey city) wish we'd stayed longer or visited another town.

Rozario and her mother ensured a wonderful stay at Athena apartments, ensuring excellent communication before arrival and during our stay, arranging the parking nearby which was a 5min walk (20 euro a day), welcoming us to our beautiful clean room with prosecco and delicious chocolate cake, and providing a tasty breakfast in the morning (the omelette is excellent). The apartment is located on the same road as the cable car (10 euro per person) which is a must to get to the bottom and visit the 3 beaches. The quaint town at the top of the mountain is a must for shops and restaurants and a view of the sea and of course mount Etna. Overall a wonderful stay - thank you :)

The most beautiful view in Taormina! An easy walk to the Main Street in Taormina but away from the busy streets. Also super close to the cable car terminal. The hosts were so warm and welcoming! Offering great recommendations, free welcome snacks and even some surprise Arancini!! The communication was great throughout. Beautiful finishes in the room. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but waking up to that view made it so worth it. Grazie!

Beautiful view from balcony. Lovely breakfast served by lovely woman on balcony. Big modern bathroom with excellent shower. Plenty of room, comfortable bed. Location a few minutes walk from bus station, cable car to beach and town centre.

There is no parking but the host booked one for us, however we stayed less than 24 hours and we had to pay a supplement of the daily rate (that goes only up to noon, no matter when you check in). The breakfast was nice with a homemade omelette but could be improved with some fresh bakery.

Family B&B, the host was very nice, we were welcomed with a glass of prosecco and a home made pie and he gave great advice on local restaurants and directions. The room is modern, calm, small but confortable, the real asset is the balcony with a stunning sea view, having our breakfast there was the best.

The view was amazing, just like in the pictures. We were welcomed by the hosts with prosecco and sweets :) The mother of Rosario is a very good cook. She cooked for us breakfast which was delicious. Everything was great, the place is very quiet and clean. Thank you Rosario for everything!

Room is small, but perfect for a few nights.

Great hospitality, welcome prosecco and cakes, great breakfast, beautiful terrace with sea view. Owners are very great hosts, offered us the better room because they were not fully booked. We left early morning and they packed breakfast for us the evening before.

The only tiny downside was the lack of a kettle in the room - there was no opportunity to make oneself a hot tea during the day or in the evening.

The stay was very enjoyable. The room was spacious, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The view from the balcony was out of this world, simply beautiful! The owner and his mother took care of our comfort throughout our stay. Communication via WhatsApp was quick and efficient. The breakfasts were delicious, especially the omelets - as light as a cloud! And freshly squeezed orange juice was the best I've ever had! We will definitely return to Taormina and would love to visit Athena Charming Rooms again. Thank you for an unforgettable stay and see you soon! :)

The host is very attentive and will try to help you in any way possible. Great breakfast every morning. If you don’t like a sweet breakfast as for the omelette. Fresh squeezed juice and freshly brewed coffee is amazing.

Athena charming rooms is perfectly located in the heart of Taormina, just next to the bus station, close to the city center and with amazing views (if you're not staying at the room with balcony, you can enjoy practically the same views from a bench 50 m away). Rosario and his mother were helpful and friendly, made me feel at home with little touches like a birthday cake for my birthday. Totally recommendable.

Rosario and his mom were excellent hosts! The room, bed, and bathroom were very clean. Rosario was there to greet me and brought me a piece of cake and Prosecco once I arrived. Rosario made himself always available on WhatsApp and would check up on me every now and then to make sure I was comfortable and to see if I needed any suggestions where to eat or visit. Rosario's mom was very sweet and caring and would bring breakfast to my room every morning. Omelets were available as well as croissants, yogurt, toast, cookies, expresso, and Nutella. For those of us who are of Sicilian decent, staying here will remind you of a certain sweet and authentic culture of hospitality that was very common among our grandparent's generation. Also the location is only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the main part of town. I certainly would stay here again!
