Words can't express how satisfied we are with our stay in Fragranza Di Sicilia. Sylvia is the most dedicated host we've ever met. She and Francesco went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to deliver an exceptional experience for us to enjoy. Sylvia is the queen of recommendations and will take the time (and she's very busy) to give you detailed guidance on how to get anywhere. Francesco is the king of homemade Limonchello 😊 The apartment is spacious, extremely clean and it's equipped with everything you could possibly need while on vacation. With the help of Sylvia it was so easy to get in the property, even though we arrived quite late. The view from the roof top simply takes your break away. We had our morning coffee there, our afternoon Aperol spritz and it's perfect for your evening wine too. It was definitely our favorite spot! Taormina itself is unreal! It's one of those places where you can simply get lost in the magic of it! The views, the food, the nature! Everything is gorgeous there and we highly recommend to go. Definitely stay with Sylvia and Francesco! It'll be an experience of a lifetime 😍

Everything about our stay was perfect. The apartment was clean, well-furnished and in a prime location, just a short walk from the main streets of Taormina. The rooftop terrace was really spacious and had amazing sea views. Beds were comfy and the shower was great. It was our super friendly host Sylvia who really made our trip so special though - she went above and beyond, giving us tailored recommendations, and making sure we knew she was always there for any questions or help. Thanks so much Sylvia!

The automatic hall light

We stayed two nights in the apartment with a balcony. It was exactly as pictured. It is tastefully decorated and very clean. The balcony has a nice view, but the rooftop terrace was even better. The very large terrace has a panoramic view and with many tables and chairs and lounge chairs. The location is great as it is situated pretty much in the middle of the town. The host Sylvia was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back if we visited the town again.

Sylvia was an absolutely amazing host going above and beyond. She made our experience and stay in Taormina an exceptionally charming one. She and Francesco even gifted us a bottle of champagne for our honeymoon and dropped off the best cannolis I’ve had to this day. The location can’t be beat—it’s right above Corso Umberto and has the cutest little porch and beautiful terrace view. Thank you for hosting us!

We arrived at Sylvia's and Francesco's place and were welcomed with great hospitality by Sylvia, including a lot of extra information about what to do in and around Taormina. We were also offered fresh cannoli and lemons from their tree. Along with these special touches, the sea view from the balcony and mount Etna from the terrace was amazing! A very functional, clean, and pretty apartment around 5 min from the central street. The apartment features comfortable beds, small kitchenette for basic cooking and balcony to relax. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to have a fun and relaxed time at Taormina. Thanks again for the beautiful stay and we'll definitely be back! :)

The apartment is lovely & we felt very at home! Comfy bed & couch, good shower, nice linens & decor! The kitchen is nicely stocked. The large roof top deck has a great view. Sylvia is a wonderful host! One of the best!! She’s very kind and helpful with any question we had and gave us great recommendations!! Francesco & Sylvia welcomed us each with a treat! A really nice touch! Quiet neighborhood but only minutes away from restaurants & main streets of Taormina. I would definitely stay here again!

Our stay wasn't long enough!

Absolutely wonderful choice for our stay in Taormina. Sylvia is a truly outstanding host. She was so warm and welcoming, sharing so much helpful information about beautiful Taormina and even providing delicious treats.The apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable, even the towels were large and soft. The location of the apartment is ideal, everything is in easy walking distance. Our favorite spot was the terrace which is really spacious and provides amazing views of Taormina, the Mediterranean Sea & Mt. Etna. We were so lucky to catch Mt. Etna erupting! Watching the orange glow in the night sky from the lounge chairs up on the terrace was an experience we'll remember forever.

We did find the stovetop to be too small to cook more than one pan at once (it was a double burner, but only a tiny 2nd pan would fit if you had something else on there), and it was also quite slow to cook things, especially as the knobs have no symbols so we struggled to figure out which way was high heat or low. We probably should have asked the hosts for help, and I'm sure they would have assisted but the small-sized stovetop did mean we only cooked once.

We had a great time here over a 6-night stay, making the most of the beautiful terrace and the well equipped apartment. We booked a one-bedroom apartment and had everything we needed for our stay (besides some issues with the stovetop listed below). The hosts were great and helped with whatever we needed but also left us be which meant we had a private time. We were also able to use the washing machine and hang our clothes on the terrace which was super handy. The bathroom was lovely and modern and the whole place felt really thoughtfully put together including little things like jars of salt/sugar etc. which makes cooking easier. We'd definitely come back here if we could, but we'd probably try to book apartment 4 (which I think is a two-bedroom) as it looked like it had a comfier couch than ours in apartment 3 (ours was okay but not super comfortable to relax on for very long). We'd definitely still stay in apartment 3 again though if it's what was available. Location was also great as it wasn't in the super loud area, but was only a few minutes walk into the heart of Taormina. It might not be the best spot for people who can't manage many stairs, but you'll be hard-pressed to find anywhere in Taormina that is much better.

Everything was fine.

The apartment is very well located - few steps and you are in the vibrant centre of Taormina! There is a beautiful view from a big terrace on the roof where you can enjoy the sun. The apartment is very clean and well equipped. Sylwia is the nicest host I have ever had - very responsive, super kind, she thinks about everything to make your stay in Taormina pleasant.

Fantastic position with beautiful balcony over looking Mediterranean. Comfortable beds, lovely little touches within the apartment. Owner met us early so we could leave our luggage. So clean. Owners dropped us some cannoli and brought a drink of lemoncello. Very friendly and helpful owners. Great location to centre. Loved the detailed instructions how to get there with photos. Wonderful hosts and apartment. Highly recommend. Great communication throughout.
