We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

IrelandI would have liked a coffee machine in the room. Bar was never properly opened, we had to ask for a drink and then find staff later to ask to get another. Receptionist seemed to only work part time, so we had to check out the day before we left as she was unavailable after 2pm. Maybe it was because it was early February, but it was inconvenient. However she was very pleasant and spoke very good English
I loved the style of the building and my room led directly to the outside garden. All the decor.was amazing and in keeping with the age of the building but it's was never tatty or old looking. I ADORED the food. It was of excellent quality and extremely great value.

Very Nice property fir hotel and Restaurant Good value. I had two reservations. 9-13-15. Rate Good. My Second reservation began on Sunday, 9-17 ..it was a complete disaster. I Will offer my comments when concluded on 9-20

United KingdomReally rude response from this property, which was impossible to get in contact with - I made a date error on my booking, which was made in a panic, on my app on the phone, while christmas travels went awry as my flights were cancelled on christmas eve. Tried to contact them to rectify, they didn't want to know, they ignored my mails and caused me so much stress and basically eventually responded with a PFO and kept the full amount for my booking, which was on their system for a couple of hours - and had no impact on their other reservations at all. Really greedy, really rude and showed no compassion and understanding. They basically put their hands in my pocket and took £70 of my money for nothing and booking.com were pretty useless in helping in anyway

It is a marvellous locations, often used in the weekends as a real Italian wedding location. So during the weekdays this was a marvellous experience, with huge rooms, lots of space, nice bathroom. The restaurant was authentic (agro-turismo) Italian food with some great wines. What more can you expect....
