AustriaVery close to the beach this hotel offered us a nice 1-night-stay. As we stayed in March, the beach was empty but still enough for our kids to play with all the shells laying there, and there were a lot. The swimming pool was really tiny, but offered enough variety for the day, but had to be booked in advance and was only available from 19:00 - 21:00.

United KingdomThe main downside of the hotel during our stay was that the hotel's restaurant was closed (apparently due to the staff shortage), although on Google's ratings of local retaurants it was marked the best with highest rating!! Being two families staying at Punta Marina for only 2 nights with 3 kids below 7 Years old (prior to our Cruise Holiday from Ravenna Port), it prooved impossible to find a place to have lunch/dinner as it was Italy's Holiday Break and all the restaurants around the hotel were fully booked for few days and none of them were accepting anyone walking into them for an eat-in meal!! This was the worst experience we've had in an unknown place with kids, where nothing is available to eat... Even Hotel's own beach bar, which was only serving snacks, was shut after 7pm!! The other problem was that the area had an extreme shortage of Taxi and UBER was not operational there, meaning that the few Radio Taxis availabel were extremely expensive for the even the shortest distance hires. We returned our rental vehicle at Ravenna City Centre and ended up travelling 1hr back to Punta Marina on a public transport due to the Taxi shortage!! Last thing, which really has nothing to do with the hotel (but better to be aware of), is that mosquitos around the beach and hotel's seating areas were very unkind and their bites were extremly irritational as their bite locations on our skins are still sore after 2 months having caused terrible irritations/reactions to our skins, so must make sure to have creams and repellant sprays handy when travelling to Punta Marina area.
The location of this hotel was fabulous, being next to the seafront and having the sea waves withing reach; great for children playing while you're lying at the front of the hotel under the umbrellas. The beachside bar was great during the day for the drinks and snacks. The hotel has ample space for carparking as our flight from the UK was to Bologna Airport and we had to arrive at the hotel with a rental car for returning the day after (Taxi from Airport to Hotel was very expensive). Room had ample space and the extra bed for our little one was comfy. Bathroom clean and in good state and the air-conditioning was working very well. Breakfast area was great with indoor space and ample outside space under umbrellas, creating a romantic ambient, having breakfast while watching the beach and the waves. Quality of the cooked and continental breakfast was fantastic! The swimming pool facilities were also great as we did use this during our very short stay as my little one preferred to spend her time on the beach sands. Staff were great in helping us on various matters, including recommending local restaurants, ordering take-away foods for us to be delivered to the hotel (as the Hotel's restaurant was shut during our stay!), arranging for Taxi & Transport to Ravenna Cruise Terminal (there was extreme Taxi shortage due to Italy's holiday season at the end of August). The lady in the reception (Maria) did her best during our stay to accommodate our varioius above requests and assisted us with questions and kind advice.

Beach was stunning we had the water front units. Rooms are spacious and clean. Good amount of space for everything. Room was beside a public access to the beach, they absolutely need to provide some privacy for this room. Also can’t lock the doors from the outside so if you wanted to go for a walk on the beach you would need to go from the inner door and walk around

Everything was ok, nice breakfast with ham, cheese, eggs , bacon, fruit and sweet cake selection. Clean and warm rooms. We did not have time to visit swimming pool.
