The apartment was a perfect size for 4 adults and all the facilities were there to prepare our own meals. The upper deck was a quiet place to sit under the stars in the evenings. There was a lot of available car parking outside the front door. The grocery store, butcher shop and bakery where a short walk away. The host gave a guided tour through the apartment and showed where to find everything we needed.

Nothing in particular.

The house was really clean, and was quite spacious for a family of 4. It has a nice terrace which is exclusively for the people staying in the apartment. Caterina was super helpful and responsive. We messaged her late in the evening asking her for laundry detergent. She immediately sent Mr. Paolo with some. We loved our 3-night stay and would definitely prefer staying here again if we plan another trip to Trapani.

Not a lot to dislike. For us elderly, the steps down to the kitchen were a little awkward.

Cute garage/basement conversion. Quite well equipped but missed out on cleaning product to ensure leaving cooking equipment clean. Superb assistance when dealing with problems following car breakdown.

Everything was as described! But yes, only the 2 main bedrooms have AC units. A bit of sharing helps.

Spacious apartment with modern decorations. It was the perfect first stop for us in Sicily, to explore Trapani and Erice from. We received a super warm welcome even though we arrived later than expected. the kitchen is fully equipped and the rooftop terras a nice surprise, it is perfect for an aperitivo, enjoying the afternoon sun and cool breeze.

The mattress in the suite bedroom is not very comfortable. Located in a small quiet village so we could not arrive nor make any noise without disturbing the neighbors.

would have loved a nespresso/coffee type machine (rather than than the traditional coffee boiler). Also, one of the 3 rooms did not have A/C (but had a fan, so that was fine) which created some tensions with my children

So much space, extra beds, comfortable rooms. The kitchen was completely new, and so were the bathrooms. We also loved the amenities, the terrace with sofas, and the surrounding has some nice restaurants and pasterias. Best place to rest and visit Erice and Trapani by day. Value for money was excellent. Thank you Caterina for making us feel comfy.

Arrived…no one there to greet us. Some neighbor tried to ring the doorbell… no answer. I called the owners phone… some old lady answered, denied knowing the owner. We went to the local gelateria to cool down from the oppressive heat. I “WhatsApp” messaged Caterina the owner… responded with no knowledge of our booking! I emailed our confirmation. She found it. She did not come to apologize, and sent a non English speaking old man who rambled on and left us the key. I asked to have a 9:30 checkout, but no one showed up, so I hooked the key inside a we left. She never apologized and it seemed that every question I had she avoided. Terrible customer service.

The host only spoke Italian and didn’t use Google translate, so communication difficult. Was told there would be washing machine but it was packed away on balcony. We had booked this apartment for this reason after 16 days travelling so very disappointed. The terrace was also packed up; understandable but should have been told and price lowered. The wind moved the furniture which made sleeping noisy. The terrace was reached by very steep outside metal steps, like a fire escape, with a drop right down to basement flat garden: worrying if have children or vertigo! We arrived on All Saints Day and shops closed- would have been nice to have known and host could have also provided tea bags and coffee: all are available in individual packages so Covid safe. No kettle. No bathroom products. Only air conditioning or heating unit in 2 of three bedrooms so place was cold. Didn’t like to use it excessively to prevent high costs to owner. Bed very hard.

Location good for Erice (16min by car), similar to Trapani. Quiet residential street. Modern bathrooms, although bit smelly from drains at times.
