Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Netherlands- Prices are much higher than Chianti standard, but I think it's normal since it's a boutique hotel (You get a delicious meal for it, but you can find the same taste for a much lower price in Chianti towns too)
- They upgraded our room for free as a gesture :) - Hotel is located in a great natural beauty, you feel like you're in a famous painting - Staff is very attentive and friendly - Clean - Great service - Location easy to reach also by public transportation from Florence (you don't need a car for this hotel, while generally it is a must have for Tuscany destinations) - Walking distance to the center of Greve in Chianti (you have more alternatives to eat, drink etc. even without a car) - Good wine and food - Amazing breakfast with sweet and savory options - Free wine tasting included in the stay - We went in the start of season, but I can't imagine how beautiful the place would be in real spring and summer

AustraliaI wish we’d had a king bed
The staff were so accommodating and made a huge effort to ensure we were comfortable, happy and enjoying our stay. They even organised a cake for me for my birthday as a surprise. The property is gorgeous, with animals, an organic garden and lots of beautiful places to sit and stroll around. Also a very short walk through the vineyards to Greve for restaurants and a few shops.

So much to do: pool, garden, see the animals, walk the olive groves, workout facility, on site cooking class. On-site restaurants were amazing, the food was fresh and incredible. United KingdomThe pool was not heated so late summer it was really too cold to use.
Beautiful location, just outside the village of Greve. You can walk down to the village if you wish. Lovely staff, very pretty style with farm animals, vegetables, vines. The restaurant is very stylish. A real escape - very quiet and relaxing. We did a cookery class which was fabulous. Definitely recommend it for a true Tuscan retreat.

United StatesThe room could have had a few more luxury details added like Kleenex, bathrobes, mini bar.
The place was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The grounds were sprawling and well cared for. The decor was tasteful and beautiful everywhere you looked. They had a Dyson hairdryer in the room which was an appreciated detail especially during the humid weather. The breakfast was fantastic as were all the staff from the front management to the bakers to the pool attendants.

AustraliaThe food around the pool was very average. Would have expected more for the price and property.
Amazing view of the Tuscan countryside and great location. Felt very private, but at the same time could walk into the town for dinner. Laundry facilities were welcome as we were travelling for some time. Our room was spacious with a great very.

CanadaAbsolutely incredible stay at Terre Di Baccio. It exceeded our expectations and we can’t thank the staff enough for their hospitality. The staff not only care for the guest but they care for the land. Special mention to Alice and Marco and chef. Everyone should experience this at least once in their lives. RomaniaI think I don’t regret the rooster singing at 3 am 😜
We particularly liked the people. The lady who cook the breakfast was so kind to us, the young lady from the pool bar helped us with everything we asked, the chef was such a kind and welcoming person (and the cooking class is such a nice souvenir!), Marco who helped us at each lunch and diner and, of course, Ilaria and her colleague from receptions who helped us with all the booking we needed. We thank you all of you! We liked the play list and the landscapes.

United Arab EmiratesThe food set up for families was very limited and took too long after ordering. E.g for dinner from ordering main course it look 2 hours to arrive and wasn’t any better than restaurants we ate at in town. Breakfast was very good.
Beautiful location and setting.

Wow! This place was amazing. The villa is gorgeous and the poolside was beautiful. Staff were so friendly and attentive helping us with restaurant recommendations and places to visit. We also did wine tasting at a gorgeous refurbished chapel at the bottom of the vineyard and a food making class here. The orangery breakfast room was beautiful and it was so nice to walk around and see the alpacas, peacocks, ducks etc. Room was lovely, aircon worked great and the bathroom was really nice with a good shower. It was so wonderful we were very sad to leave. I would definitely book to come back here.

United KingdomThis was one of the most incredible stays we have had throughout our years of travel. The staff team are exceptional!! Illaria helped us with bookings at restaurants, organising tours and transfers and overall ensuring we had everything we needed and more during our stay - we could see how much love and passion she puts into Terre Di Baccio. Marco, the waiter at the property, always ensured we had everything we needed serenaded us with amazing piano music during dinners. Alice helped us at the last minute to get a taxi to a restaurant we had booked (not an easy feat in the area) and was always so friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful wine tasting with Ignes at the property who shared her passion and knowledge of the wines produced. The cooking class is a MUST and one of the highlights of our stay - what a special experience with the passionate chef. They have a beautiful pool and jacuzzi area with amazing cocktails and cold beer! Thank you to the whole Terre Di Baccio team who made our trip so memorable, we cannot recommend it enough!

United StatesPossibly changing the menu for dinner a little more often, we may have eaten there more if we had a different selection every few days. Otherwise, your food was amazing and delicious!
Your delicious breakfast was amazing and delicious! Your location is perfect, close to the cute town of Greve and walking distance through your vineyard was great! The view was spectacular from every spot in our villa and on your premises!

United StatesA way to improve the property would be to have a more electronic/easier access to rooms. The key in doors was bulky and the key often didn't fit perfectly in the door without a few tries. An app to help get around the property or book a dinner reservation with the chef could be helpful too!
loved the remoteness and beautiful scenery of the vineyard and animals. the path leading down to Greve was also beautifully lit by rainbow lights that make you feel more at-home. The chef was exceptional with dinner and a personal cooking class - Grazie Mille!!

Israelthe location and the facilities were great, the only thing missing was the attention of the staff. other then on our arrival we didn’t see or hear them, it was difficult if we wanted to ask anything it needed to wait until the next day at breakfast. on our second day we ran out of soap and the cleaning staff didn’t replace it. the place is so amazing and it was disappointing. also we were a party of 4 and got an appointment that was beautiful but there was no privacy as the rooms were in one open space
