Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

TurkeyThe hotel's location was very good. In a very friendly neighborhood. Walking distance to good restaurants, bars, historic places such as Collesseum, Fontan di Trevi, Spanish Steps. Also very close to the public transport. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. The decoration of the hotel was so beautiful and I was really amazed by many details. The breakfast was very good with many options. The rooms were spacious.

United KingdomOn a rainy day it felt a little cold and I would’ve like the option to turn the heating / towel rail on. (It’s controlled centrally)
The tea hour was a lovely touch. The bar was great and the staff very welcoming. Very clean throughout. Nice big bed, beautiful decor.

United KingdomIt would have been good if we could have had the bathroom radiator switched on. Our room was lovely and warm but the bathroom a little chilly. A minor detail but some people might have found it too cold.
Nice helpful staff and very good breakfast. Location was great close to most things.

GermanyGot our first Roman Cappuccino when we walked in the door - fluffy and delicious. We have a small dog, for which they had already provided a bed as well as food and water bowls in the room without having to ask. The hotel provides a delicious breakfast, complimentary tea and coffee in the afternoon and has a bar area for drinks in the evening. Lots of restaurants for lunch and dinner are just down the road. The restaurant recommendations made by the helpful staff were great.

There are so many things I like about this hotel and would absolutely recommend to everyone: 1. Location is very central, easy access to all the sites you wish to visit 2. The staff is so lovely, always greet you with a smile and so accommodating. They even went beyond to help me with my special case. They really left a special place in my heart. 3. Breakfast is super fresh and delicious

Australiawell the wine selection at the bar could be more interesting,
Excellent in house breakfast, coffee made to order and home made cakes every day- yum! Location is good- via urbana and monti are good shopping areas and have excellent food options nearby- the staff can give you some tips- try astemio wine bar, trieste for pizza, zia rosetta for lunch and cuoco e camici for nouvelle italian cuisne. Rooms are super clean and well serviced and a shower to die for (or in).

IsraelIn my opinion the artwork doesn't really fit the minimalistic and sophisticated nature and vibe of the hotel.
The Fifteen keys hotel was just perfect. Located in the heart of laid back, yet trendy Monti neighborhood, it was close to many good restaurants, with friendly and professional staff, that was super helpful with every recommendation we needed, from restaurants to stores, assisting with reservations and always patient and smiling. The hotel is small, only 15 rooms, very clean, cozy and quiet, with a beautiful little patio to relax in after a busy day packed with tourist attractions. It seems that the designers of this hotel really gave thought to the finest details that make a guest feel comfortable and cared for, and we were especially impressed with breakfast, which was not only tasty but also the most aesthetic I have ever seen in a hotel, from the dishes to the display, which was presented in small quantities frequently refilled, creating a feeling of finer dining in a local cafe, rather than the usual overload large hotels often display, and reducing food waste, which is something that usually bothers me while traveling. We had a great time and we’ll be happy to return.

United StatesThe staff at the hotel is extremely nice and helpful. They booked us a last-minute dinner reservation at a restaurant where we ended up having one of the best meals during our entire trip. When we checked out very early on our last day to go to the airport, they prepared a little breakfast-to-go bag for us (which was a nice treat because their breakfast is delicious). They really think of every detail to make your stay perfect. The hotel is stylish and the ambiance is lovely. The Monti neighborhood is great with pretty little streets, great shops, and restaurants. This was our second stay and it was as special as the first time. This will always be our first choice of hotel in Rome!

United KingdomA real gem of a hotel in a great location. Our room on the fourth floor worked a treat, a great bed and shower with all of the facilities and a lovely courtyard to relax and enjoy a drink. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice and delicious extras such as the homemade smoothies and cakes. Complimentary afternoon tea was also very welcome after a busy day touring the sites. The staff were really helpful, always a smile and nothing too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.

United StatesNothing - everything was great. We would stay at The Fifteen Keys Hotel again.
This is a stylish little hotel is set away from the busiest tourist spots but in a neighborhood with artisan shops and some great restaurants buzzing with activity. The location is short walk from the Termini Roma station, Trevi Fountain and metro and bus stops so getting to other areas of Rome was easy. The breakfast buffet with fresh baked goods, eggs, smoothies, etc., served in the cozy lounge area and outdoor courtyard was a perfect way to start the day. Our room was quite large, comfortable, and the cleaning staff did an excellent job. The front desk staff was also helpful with restaurant and shopping recommendations and arranging taxi service.

United KingdomI thought the breakfast was pretty disappointing given the prices you pay to stay here. It took forever to get a coffee, it was a real let down from the rest of the stay.
The suite was really amazing. It was a great size and perfect if we you were going to spend a few nights in Rome and wanted a base that you could stretch out in and feel comfortable to spend some time in when not out and about.
