How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Was little tricky to find the entrance- you have to go into the Bibbo tours office next door which manage the apartments. They were very helpful when we arrived, recommending places to visit and were available in person or by message (WhatsApp) at any time.
Great location - easy walking distance to a lot of the sights.

Good location, near the metro and bus routes for visiting the Vatican but also easy enough to walk to Trevi / Colosseum and most of the attractions.

A little bit noisy during the evenings from the street. Windows on the room not so tight.
Accommodation had a great location, very close to all the monuments on foot. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was very nice and equipped with AC.

The apartment is in a great location, 10 mins away from the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. A selection of small convenience shops and eating places a few minutes walk away. It was very comfortable, clean and was well equipped. The staff at Bibbo tours, which manage the apartments were very helpful when we arrived, recommending places to visit and were available in person or by message at any time.

No microwave in kitchen and no pots or pans that I could see.

Shower temperature was difficult—sometimes couldn’t get hot, sometimes would either have option of cold vs way-too-hot.
Simple, clean, comfortable. They allowed us to keep our bags downstairs when we arrived early before check in which was nice and helpful.

Good location - central to the main tourist areas around Rome. Not as much privacy as initially expected though - the room is part of a mini-apartment of sorts and not a traditional hotel.

Would have appreciated easier access to an iron. Weak shower.
Beautiful space, comfortable room. Location was perfect, not too close to the business but easy access to shops and food.

The shower wasn't the best set up, but spoke to the hotel about it, and they have token note. Not a huge amount directly around the hotel, but it's not far to places to eat/drink
It is a great location, easy to access from the termini station, and easy to access the city and ancient monuments. Lovely old building as well with a cool old lift. Very helpful staff who also run a tour company, so can help in arranging things in and around the city.

Water pressure in the bathroom is very low, taking a shower takes too long.
Great location close to Trevi, Colosseum, main train station etc. Room and bathroom was very clean, room had a water boiler and tea. Staff was excellent, very kind and helpful people. We asked for iron and umbrella, teven though they were not included in the room the staff offerred these to us right away! Self checkin and checkout is very easy, this helped us so much.

We loved the location of the accommodation. The room was very clean and nice. Even though we had a small issue with the hot water, once mentioned to our host it was resolved immediately!

Nice room for 3 person! Close to all main sightings, so you just can walk! Clean, spacious, with different stuff for having coffee break! Sometimes wi-fi signal was very low, and we have problem with the key of the front door.

If you are looking for a great place in the center of Rome (but without crowded streets, and hordes of tourists) and you don't want to spend a fortune - choose this place. You'll get quiet, cosy, clean room, and very helpful staff. Recommended!

The locker was not working but it’s an irrelevant issue which might be sorted out soon.
The property is very well located. The room was clean and tidy. You get it clean every day. We had a small issue (because of our fault) but Matteo, the manager, and the cleaning lady sorted it out in no time and very smoothly. Thanks

Water pressure is weak in the bathtub, bathroom's door can not be closed, i think the room can use a rug during winter, be prepared to bring your own shampoo.
Location, plenty of towles, elevator for bags.
