How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Very clean and comfortable, great location, professional staff. Thoughtful touches like free prosecco at end of stay. This Rome trip was a gift for my cousin & niece - their 1st ever Rome visit. Highly recommend this place for Rome!

Everything was perfect
This apartment is incredible for a short stay in Rome. Whilst the apartment is close to the train station, it is quiet, clean, comfortable and the perfect place to recharge after being amongst the busy city on the street below. Daniele was incredibly accommodating, gave us clear instructions to enter the apartment, greeted us at the door and gave us amazing restaurant recommendations. I will 100% recommend

Really quite difficult to fault. Maybe some toiletries?
The location was next to the train station and the neighbourhood was quiet. Really recommend this area due to it's relaxed nature and proximity to the centre. The room itself was very well designed, the team running it were so kind and check-in was super easy.

Safe location (close to the police station and some govt organizations), only a few minutes walk from central train station. It's located in night ZTL so very quiet during night. The room is renovated. Very cozy and clean.

Perhaps replace the extraction system in the bathroom by one who makes less noise. Unable to sleep with window open because all airconditionings were situated on balcony and they do make some noise. We just turned the ac on for cooling at night (in January) and closed the window, it worked fine.
Good communication by WhatsApp, all the facilities were comfortable, fast wifi, good beds, cleaning was very good, airconditioning works well.

The apartment was fantastic…..super clean, neat and charming. They were there to greet us when we arrived. It’s only around a 10 minute walk from Roma Termini. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Rome.

It was centrally locates, walking distance to all sight seeing. The area felt secured and it was close to termini, for trains going to and from the airport. It was very well decorated and super comfortable and spacious. Also, Danielle, the host was extremely kind and helpful

Centrally located to ALL major sites - the only time we didn’t walk was to the Vatican City, otherwise very walkable from this location. The room was spacious, clean and modern. Daniele was a great host and super helpful!

Very impressive place, good facilities, generous and flexible management. The rooms have been renovated to a very high standard, exposing some original features whilst being fully up to date.. Good bed, lighting, and shower. Impeccably clean. The breakfast space could be used by all to make complimentary Nespresso coffee and biscuits - a nice touch Very conveniently located, close to the main sites but not in a busy spot and high enough on the top floor to feel away from it all and get complete peace. Will be back.

You can not have anything bad to say about this place, at this price 😊
Perfect place for a stay in Rome. 10 minutes walk to the bus/train/metrostation, Fontana di trevi, Spanish stairs etc. About 15 min walking distance. Really beautiful newly renovated rooms, with ac etc. Daniele was friendly and gave good advices.
