Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IsraelThe Social Hub is a nice hotel, good for young travelers. I booked a single room, and it was clean and cozy, though a bit pricey for a single. The staff are very helpful and always smiling. The rooftop has a bar and a pool, but the pool was closed in April. The location is great—just a minute's walk to a beautiful park, and only 10 minutes to the train station and all the attractions in Florence.

CanadaLoud music plays during the weekends which you hear in your room. After a long day of work or leisure, I come to my hotel room to relax and sleep; not listen to a DJ set.
Close to the main train station. Friendly staff

United StatesFar away from center to walk.... kinda like a college dorm. The hotel layout is confusing. Depending on your room location you may have to take multiple elevators or if you want to go to rooftop bar. You will get lost in the hotel layout.
Clean nice hotel.

United KingdomThe air con isn’t really air con, the coolest temperature it reaches is 24 degrees. We visited in May and my husband did struggle to get to sleep due to being too warm. When we opened the window mosquitos came in. Only other complaint is food and drink is expensive at the hotel but that’s expected.
The facilities at this hotel were amazing! Free laundry room and huge communal kitchen. The rooftop bar and pool area is really special. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. I liked the smoothie bar too. Plus there is loads of space to work if you need to! Spent a whole morning working downstairs and it was lovely, spacious and quiet.

United StatesCleaning service came later in a day around 4-5pm, they came when we got home to rest so skipped most days and just got new towels. One day had bad Wi-Fi connection all day.
Great location, nice staff, fun for young people, amazing roof top views, very convenient for a long term stay as well, there are good places to eat nearby and easy to walk to all the sites

Italysome of the rooms are very small, with limited space for luggage. be careful to ask for larger rooms when reserving the hotel seems to be very environmentally careful, but offer bottled water coming from spain, which is a bit contradictory the price is not cheap, but the city is in general very expensive compared to italian standards
the front desk staff was excellent (particular thanks to giacomo, professional, corteous and able to solve problems) and the roof top bar staff was very good as well the position is extremely convenient, easily reachable by car, but out of the limited traffic area. every part of the city centre including oltrarno is at walking distance the roof top bar and pool is beautiful with a memorable view the building (an old ralways company local headquarter) has a strong personality

United KingdomWhen checking in, they tried to take a photo of my passport in the middle of the lobby which made me feel uncomfortable as anyone could see my private information and didn’t like that a picture would be stored on the computer. Only the number is needed.
Very modern and clean. We just used as a hotel but liked that it was multi-functional. Had lots of facilities, particularly liked the rooftop bar and pool. Prices for drinks were expensive for what they were but still had a great time. Would stay again.

United KingdomOne particular member of staff asked me to move my seat while I was enjoying the rooftop to let a bigger crowd sit where I was sitting. It was a fair request and I was due to leave anyways but the way he asked wasn’t very polite, he essentially told me to move rather than requesting, and made me feel even more on my own than I already did feel. I was a solo traveller feeling out of place up there with everyone sitting in crowds and me on my own.
Great hotel. My only regret is not being able to stay a bit longer to experience more of it. The room had everything I needed and the rooftop was gorge. If you are looking for a photo op or 10 defo go

ItalyNot much! It’s a little far from the city center, but I think that’s beneficial. If anything, the hallways are a little dingy with linoleum floors, but the room was solid!
They had a lot of amenities! Lots of activities in the building and a wonderful atmosphere. The room was cozy with a very modern, clean bathroom. It was an overall wonderful experience!

IcelandNothing at all - everything seemed to be as advertised except the pool was closed.
Came during Easter and the pool was closed due to maintenance. Everything looked clean and nice. Has a "fresh wibe" to it and fits probably better a younger generation than the older (was our teenage daughters first choice). Our room didn't have a "view" but we didn't care, we only used it to sleep in anyway. Breakfast was good as well as the small restaurant inside the building. I liked it very much and would consider staying there again.

United StatesThe facility is huge ! They have multiple elevators that can make it a little complicated to reach your room depending on where it is and to go to the rooftop. After a while, you get the hang of it, but it can get complicated at first.
This hotel has a very young vibe to it. Keep this in mind if you are going with parents or babies. The restaurant at the hotel was very convenient for breakfast and dinner. The rooftop bar/ pool is sooo beautiful ! So close to he tram station that takes you to Florence station ! This was super convenient!.
