My own inability to speak Italian.

Michele was just amazing, went out of his way to ensure our stay was perfect. Even when our own ability to find our way around was a struggle Michele was there to help out at the drop of a hat. Just wonderful hosts and perfect for our short stay. Provided many recommendations which were all exceptional. Thankyou and Bravo Gaeta! Thoroughly recommend sorrabellas!

Located on a historic street with shops and stalls - ideal for browsing. The seaside promenade with cafes etc was round the corner. The beautifully decorated studio apartment with balcony was a gem. Bathroom spacious - great. Hosts Michele and Valentina looked after us. Collected us from the station at Formia, and back again!

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

We lover everything about the property. It was centrally located, and everything we needed was catered for within the apartment. The pull-down sofa bed was extremely comfortable. The hosts could not have been more helpful, they were absolutely fantastic in every way. We enjoyed the room with the wonderful roof terrace, beautiful views and comfortable furniture. We would highly recommend this property and will definitely be returning. Many thanks Michele and family.

The hosts at the Sorabellas were really, really helpful which makes a huge difference when you're travelling with a family. They were very responsive to queries, very flexible. I addition, our room was lovely and really clean with everything you need as a family. It was so nice. The communal areas (the stairwell and entrance) were also really clean and smartly decorated. The hosts definitely take care of their building and the rooms. The guesthouse itself was on a nice old street, nice and cool, with a few bakeries, a few mini markets, a couple of trattorias and some fruit and veg shops and stalls. It wasn't busy and it was quiet at night, no late bars or anything. Perfect for a young family. I would stay here again if I visit Gaeta again. I didn't take any photos of our room, but I would say that the photos on Booking.com are pretty accurate. Thank you!

Everything you need and more! Great location in the center with a big parking lot nearby, close to restaurants, bars, shops but quiet neighbourhood. The room has a perfectly equipped kitchen, breakfast and a cute balcony with flowers. The host Michele is the best, gave us all the infos you need about what to do and where to eat. Tip: ask for the bike rental, it’s the best way to get around in Gaeta. Definitely recommend!

We are so happy we decided to stay at The Sorabellas. The hosts met us when we arrived and explained everything about the apartment and what we can do in Gaeta. They sent us info on were to eat, what to see, where best to shop, where to see panoramic views and much more! They really went above and beyond to make sure we're comfortable during our stay. The apartment is located in an amazing narrow street in Gaeta close to the see / Lungomare. There's a supermarket on the next corner and plenty of small shops to buy cheese, meat, sweets, wine and olives to keep you going. You can walk to the centre and the fish market as well as to the other side of town where you'll find the main beach (Serapo). We had access to the main terrace on the top of the building offering an amazing view over the sea - just fantastic. The wifi was very strong everywhere, even on the terrace. It's perfect to do some work (if you need to) while chilling and enjoying the great view. The apartment (and the whole house, landing etc.) was very clean, equipped with everything we needed. It's all very new and well maintained. Special thanks for the host for looking after us so well! Tips (recommended by our hosts): 1. There's a market on Wednesdays by the old station - highly recommended! 2. Do try Tiella in the Pizzeria del Porto - especially the one with Polpo 👌🏼 3. Go and have a drink at the Tide Bar by the sea opposite the square. 4. If you're into seafood you MUST go and try Comeilmare by the fish market. (my favourite)

Very convenient apartment in walking distance to town center, harbor, restaurants. The couple that owns the apartment could not have been nicer, or more helpful. They helped us with our luggage, parking and gave us many ideas of what to do as well as restaurants. Even recommended a good hairdresser. Excellent value.

Beautiful room with kitchen corner that has everything you need for your stay. Wonderful position in the centre of Gaeta and near the beach. The owner , Michele, is such a kind person who couldn't be more helpful. He gave us so much information about places to visit, restaurants, cafes etc. I have never met such a kind , helpful host. I highly recommend the Sorabellas and hope to be going back again soon!!

We spent three nights here, and if it were possible to give 12 points, that would give that for sure :) Just fantastic, we are very grateful. Absolutely everything has been thought - from the washing powder to the espresso cups, from the coffee capsules to the machine that heats the milk and prepares it for the frothy coffee. Very clean and new, great WI FI for work, and the hosts Michelle and Valentina are truly amazing. We have travelled a lot, seen a lot, but these hosts are the best :) Thank you! Attention, care, and pleasant communication, just left impressed. We are eternally grateful :)

Minor things: No bedlghts, No cutting knifes, loud fridge.

Owners are very friendly and helpful. Location is in one of the most wonderful little streets I know. A bit like Naples but clean, save and without scooters! Flat itself isn't bad but you have a great balcony to eat and first of all a wonderful roof terrace. Bathroom very good.

Location on charming Via Indipendenza is perfect. Apartment is peaceful and the street was authentic Italian street - lively and narrow. Hosts are most helpful and super friendly. View from the roof terrace was breathtaking. Kitchen was very well equipped.

I wish I could give it 15/10 points! In 15+ years of traveling around the world, this place would rate my top 3, mainly due to the hosts who went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. Where do I start? They were very responsive from the moment of booking, on the day of my arrival I was a few hours late due to traffic - they held a public parking spot for me with their car and then offered a free parking card for Gaeta (even though the parking place is officially not included). They walked me to the apartment, carried my heavy suitcase, showed all around and said I can call them 24/7. They shared recommendations about Gaeta and even after I checked out they still sent me recommendations for Capri, because they knew I would go there next. I asked for a possibility of a late check out, because I still had to work until 5pm that day and, because other guests were arriving that day, they let me stay in their work studio downstairs at no additional cost! And on top of that they were just extremely friendly and helpful with everything. The apartment itself is really pretty, modern and extremely clean. The rooftop terrace and balcony are amazing and just for you! The bed is very comfortable and the Internet connection is very reliable and very fast. I was staying in Gaeta for 4 days and unfortunately I had to work everyday, so I had little time to explore the town, but I could never ask for a better place to work remotely :) It would for sure work just as perfect for a holiday stay :) Thank you so much!!!

This is the best place in Italy, I come here every year, I have stayed in mango other B&Bs in the area.. It was the best value so I took it. I couldn't believe when I got there that I was in the centre of this most amazing part of Geata.. Authentic Italy, fish sellers fruit sellers weighing everything on old hand scales, when came out of the apartment I could smell the fresh pastries being baked just down the street, you don't have to go in they sell them to you out of the window €1.50 Then 2 doors down you can get a cappuccino in the same manner or you can sit in for €1.20 ..There is everything thing you need in this alcove I can only tell you this is Italy peeled back. Forget about Rome and Venice.. This place is a fraction of the costs of the big cities.. Watching Children playing, women hanging out their laundry, amazing restaurants.. The owners of the apartment Sorabella's lovely chatty people helping me with information and drowning me with kindness.. My apartment was so clean and new, outside terrace was just for me eating my breakfast looking down the street below watching people buying and selling.. Then behind me a spiril staircase to bring me on the the roof 4 stories up sunloungers table and chairs led lighting 'I could stay here forever' the panarama looking over the bay of Geata was amazing.. I have to say I'm coming to Italy over 30years now and this was my best experience yet.. If you get talking to the owners or workers in Sorabella's they will point you in the direction that you need to go in.. Absolutely amazing ❤️💯.. I can't wait to get back here oh and it never seems to rain ere hot and sunny till the start of November 22- 24 degrees.. A real hidden Gem.. Ciao Geata see you soon 🤗❤️😘
