There was mould under the windowsill which when I pointed out to staff was cleaned very promptly. However I don’t understand how it was missed in the first place. I later noticed smaller patches of mould in the bathroom too. Also while staff nice it’s not staffed like a regular hotel, reception is in a separate part of the building.

The easiness to go up to the room via lift/stairs with suitcases a baby and a dog was not easy or comfortable at all. Out of the 3 staff that attended us, 2 were very nice and helpful but the one who attended us at check in to be honest was very rude and not helpful at all.

I did send a message regarding a booking mix up before we arrived but had to sort this out when we got there. We also found our mattress a bit soft but that is a personal preference.

The room that's pictured is not the room you get . The first room was on the 5th floor, and the bathroom fit 1 person. Our 2nd room was bigger on the 1st floor, but the street noise was all night, so we didn't get much sleep. For the price I paid, it was not worth it because the room is not as pictured.

The location was perfect. You have market at the square down the street with plenty of shops . Everything you need is right outside your door.Breakfast was down the block at a very cute cafe, the staff there was very nice and the food was very good

Difficult to find exact location as reception is on the 5th floor of a block. At street Level you need to access a wooden door which wasn’t easy to identify. Was quite noisy at night if the windows were open.

The location was great for getting to any where on foot. Lots of reasonably priced restaurants, bars, cafes close by for breakfast and evening Meals.

No receptionist, really poor condition of the interior: lots of scratches and dirt on the walls, smelly sewage, fungus on the shower walls and peeling paint on the walls. Towels strongly smell with vinegar acid. Plastic orchids (really?)

Clear instructions on how to get to the property would’ve been nice as I was lost looking for the property for over 20 minutes with a suite case on cobble stone. The pictures advertised on booking must be extremely dated, one of my terrace doors didn’t lock, and there is no lobby but a check in counter.

The check in staff are very nice. I arrived early for check in and the staff was very accommodating allowing me access to the room. The location of the property is amazing and within walking distance of all the sites I wanted to see.

We did not know that there would be so many stairs. The website didn't mention any stairs. We were on the second floor but friends that we traveled with were on the 4th floor. There is an elevator but that broke on our 2nd day there. No problem though, they carried our suit cases down for us when it was time to check out. There was no breakfast at the hotel, however we were across from a very nice, friendly place with delicious chocolate croissants and cappuccino.

We arrived before our check-in time and they were able to hold our luggage for us until we could check in. It started to rain when we got there and they gave us umbrellas to use. They were so great about carrying our luggage up and down the stairs for us. All the stairs were a lovely marble, very pretty. Very clean and comfortable rooms, our towels were changed daily. Very friendly guys, unfortunately I did not get their names. One guy checked us in and then had the next couple days off so we didn't see him again. However, his co-worker was just as nice and friendly. He always made sure that everything was good and we were happy. He help us arrange for a taxi, large enough to hold all our luggage, to our next destination. He waited until the taxi got there and then waived good-bye to us and whished us well.

The view out the window was terrible, with a view right into a brick wall. The pictures online were nothing like the room actually was. It appeared online that all rooms were luxurious and modern with nice views out the windows and more modern bathrooms. But our room was very basic with a small bathroom and no nice view. The shower kept flooding up probably because the shower drain was blocked. The items (drinks and food) offered in the mini fridge of the room were very overpriced but as always in all locations I stay in, I do not touch these items. It would be safe to say that The Spanish Suite was more basic than advertised and did not meet our expectations. However, the location was okay with cafes and restaurants around near.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. Nestor let us keep our bags there on the last day while we waited for our flight. The bed was comfy but stupidly had two single mattresses for a double bed, instead of one double mattress, so technically it wasn't even a double bed. This left a slit down the middle of the bed that made it uncomfortable to sleep on
