Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwitzerlandThe interior dining room was rather airless and cramped, and often most entry/exit doors were locked. Not enough tables available for having breakfast outside. Beach towel exchange only every 4 days! We had to beg for fresh ones after 2 days. I picked up a skin infection (folliculitis) after the first day, probably because the beach towels are not washed at a high enough temperature (an issue at other hotels I have stayed in, but at least daily exchange of beach towels was possible). The large kettle/cup unit in the bedroom had to be carried into the bathroom, which had the only socket into which the unit could be plugged!
Meals, all in buffet style, were good and variable in content. Hotel location near the beach was very nice. Staff in the restaurants and kitchen, also at the reception, the beach and the pool, were incredibly kind and friendly.

SwitzerlandThe Entertainmentprogramm goes till midnight and is way too loud. Its hard to sleep with Bass that makes your body shake.
The Staff was very friendly. They askes us, if we want a travel bag (breakfast) for our early departure (before breakfast). First Hotel that ever asked me that. The Hotel is directly at the Beach with provided seats and "Sunbrella". There was no need for seat reservations. There was always a place.

NetherlandsGreat little beach in a super picturesque setting! Nice beach chairs & pool. The room is very functional with all amenities & the AC works very well! The breakfast & lunch buffets have a variety of options, most of which are actually quite good (except the coffee that is too sugary & comes out of a sort vending machine). In the evening you can tap a ‘pitcher’ of wine that is reasonably good (we only tried white).

ItalyNo complaints.
If you have a car, the location is superb. It's quite a long way from the nearest village/town and for us that was a positive. The sea and the beach are wonderfully clean and the sea is shallow, but deep enough to swim in, for some way out. There are other lovely beaches nearby, but we tended to prefer the hotel beach. No problems with pebbles or rocks (or sea urchins) which you find on some other Sardinian beaches. On the other hand, this might not be the place to choose if you are keen on snorkelling. Sun beds and umbrellas nice and included in the price. The food was fine and there was plenty of choice. We thought the idea of a kind of buffet (but with plenty of staff nearby to help and to take away dirty crockery) was a great idea. We particularly appreciated the fact that drinks - water and wine -were included. We also appreciated the "show cooking" which was a chef making cooked food almost to order - fish, meat and vegetables.

UkraineThe cleaning was 3/10. They didn't change our bed sheets even once during the 10-days stay. And there still were lots of hair and dust after moping the floor. They didn't check our shampoo and gel, so we didn't have enough for the last day.
The location is amazing. It's really quiet and the beach is huge. The food was great and mostly Italian so you can enjoy everything not leaving the hotel. The stuff was really helpful and nice. There is a bus station 15 minutes away from the hotel in case you don't want to pay extra for taxi.

GermanyWe booked a room with a sea view, and theoretically, we had it, however, it was the last room at the corner hidden behind other rooms' balconies, so the sea wasn't much visible. Also, right in front of the room (we were on the third floor in the corner) there was a big ventilator from the kitchen, which resulted in bad smell on the balcony during the meal times. The meals were good, however, the coffee was really terrible!! I wonder how is this even possible in Italy. I saw the reviews before going, and once I tried it I understood, it was really undrinkable. Another point, if you are not Italian, you may struggle a bit. There is an animation, however, to my surprise none of them speaks English! This is super weird. I was an entertainer for a few years myself, and it was really hard for me to grasp such young people don't speak any foreign language. The evening program is only in Italian and they make no effort at all to try to engage guests who are not Italian, which is really a pity.
The hotel has a perfect location, as it's right on the beach. The sunbeds at the beach are included in the price, which is great. Our room was very spacious, modern, and comfortable. It was cleaned every day. There is a large variety of dishes during every meal and all the staff in the restaurant is always very friendly and smiling! :-) We always found something delicious, as there was a choice of multiple dishes, with fruits, cakes and ice cream after the meal. Every day between 19:00 and 20:00 there is also a free aperitif. The man in the reception was also very friendly and gave us many recommendations. There is also a hotel animation, which offers multiple attractions during the day and also in the evening. All the people seem really friendly and try their best to engage the guests into activities, however this happens only in Italian.

United KingdomI would prefer to have watermelon for breakfast not for lunch or dinner. It’s difficult to get there and when we asked to find us a transfer (it was also very difficult to find) we were told “no”, which was quite shocking cos we had really experienced problems getting there.
If you like sitting on the beach and doing nothing else, it’s a great place for you (long walks along the beach are also possible). The hotel was modern and the room was great, beds are really huge and comfortable. The chef is really passionate about the food and some nights were absolutely fantastic, especially the Ferragosto one. Good choice for a healthy diet (if you manage to resist to unlimited wine at mealtimes or a large portion ice - cream). A bar team (Fabio and a lady) is all smiles and friendly.

Netherlands1. Internet was not good, not just flaky but cumbersome and sometimes completely gone. The same can be said for mobile reception. Great for those that want to be completely disconnected, but not for the other 99%. This must be fixed. 2. In mid-summer, I expected all parts of the hotel to be open. But things like the pool bar were closed, and there was no service of any kind at the beach. Not a big issue though 3. The hotel needs TLC. The swimming pool floor was broken/chipped in many places. The bathroom of our suite was fine, but had rust around the bathtub and some loose appendages that would not support your toothbrush when having a shower. 4. Animation: With 5 or 6 people involved with animation, the repertoire was still repetitive and not engaging the hotel guests.
The hotel is ok - especially the teams that do reception, the rooms, and food services. We had one of the larger rooms (#301) with its own balcony and direct view to the sea. The beach is right in front of the hotel, and even in mid-summer not crowded, while the hotel has their own reserved spot with sunbeds and umbrellas as part of the service. The sea is very swimmable, warm and not too quickly going deep. With goggles or similar, you can check the fish swimming around you.

Qatarfood was not up to a 4 star standard and in several instances, wasn’t to my taste. I personally think that the hotel should improve the food presentation and food menu which should also target international visitors and not only local cuisine. The most negative feedback which the hotel must improve on is the cleanliness of the silverware and dishes and cups, because everyday we were struggling to find cups and dishes that doesn’t smell, meaning weren’t washed well. location of the hotel is a bit remote and the nearest city is Muravera which is small and very quiet with nothing to actually see or do, so if you’re planning to stay in hotel and just enjoy the beach, then this is the place for you and if you’d like to explore more of Sardinia, you definitely need a car.
very nice beach with free sunbeds and umbrella. entertainment team were excellent both during the day on the beach and in the evening after dinner and they always kept a good vibe and brought life to the hotel. Staff are very polite and friendly.Analisa have a beautiful voice and she sings really well. SwitzerlandAlthough we specifically requested a quiet room with a sea view, ours was very noisy because it overlooked the courtyard where loud music was played every evening. This was so loud we couldn't sleep. The choice of music was terrible and was not the soft chillout lounge music advertised but loud disco bop. The hotel is advertised as adults only but the music belonged to a kiddies disco. It wasn't possible to have a conversation in the courtyard with the music playing, not even during happy hour where the music was supposed to be relaxing chillout.
The location was really excellent with a private beach. The staff was friendly and encouraged beach users to participate in organised sports, aqua gym etc. The room was very comfortable. There was a small but functional gym. The food was simple with a good variety of options.

Italy-Have you ever boiled your grandfather's old socks and then drank the stinky water? Well, that would be better and tastier than the ungodly beverage from hell they give you during breakfast. Yes, they call it coffee but I'm pretty sure it is a war crime forbidden by the Geneva convention. I'm pretty sure that prisoners in Guantanamo get better coffee each morning, at least the US government has the decency to not call it a 4 star jail. - Regarding the staff my hypothesis is that the management hired a couple of experienced persons and an army of students without experience, and they just told them "yeah, you'll learn your job while you do it". They REALLY need a better training, some of them have a good attitude, while others just seem to be thinking of a way to escape, that would explain their grumpiness. - As other reviewers have mentioned, the food is incredibly mediocre for a 4 stars hotel. In fact the best way to explain it is to compare it to a University cafeteria, or to a orphanage (do you remember the cafeteria lady from the Simpsons? That's the experience you'll get)
-The beach is great, the sand has the right kind of texture, not too fine, not too coarse, just right. The place in general is very beautiful, with great views, including a nearby tower which can be a great spot to be during the sunrise. -The building is new or recently renovated, so everything works as expected. - The beach umbrella and chairs are fine, everything is new. -There is not a lot of light pollution in this area, so it is a good place to watch stars at night, especially for city people that never have the opportunity to watch the sky.
