Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Italypoor tv choices, no netflix or you tube connection . hdmi of the tv not functional .
1) the interior design is outstanding modern mixed with traditional with old army bikes ! outstanding ! 2) the food was excellent 3) the personnel is very professional 4) everybody speaks at list 2 foreign languages 5) the matress was like a cloud 6) the gym is very complex and the latest type of machines 7) it has 1 inside and 2 huge outside thermal swimming pools 8) pool inside and outside bar 9) very well taken care of garden 10) traditional food and vegan choices 11) health club is amazing : all types of massages , specific thermal water therapies,hairdresser, manicure , pedicure …. 12) there are two restaurants within the hotel. One is very elegant and one is near the pool. 13)  every night in the hotel bar. There are very nice events with live music and the light in the night and a good thing is that you can’t hear it at the floor above, so you can rest in peace 14)  The owner is always present in the hotel and you can talk to him directly about anything you like this is very reassuring.

ItalyWhen we arrived we had to wait in line 15min for check-in that was supposed to be at 14. Than very unprofessional receptionist informed us that room will be available after 15.30, that for me for this price is unacceptable. When I started to notice it, nobody was taking seriously our dissatisfaction. Only when I clearly requested to speak with a manager, we started speaking with receptionist's supervisor that offered us a junior suite room available immediately, but overall we arrived to the hotel few minutes after 14, and we entered room only before 16.00 (we lost more than one hour). Room was nice, but for sure not at the level of 5star luxury hotel (only basic cosmetics without things like cotton pad), very poor hairdryer, no free water to drink. SPA very nice, but a lot of noise in the relax zone and we had to wait in the line to enter to sauna. Overall in the luxurious hotel this situation shouldn't happen, and even if we got a junior suite, we lost time that we wanted to spend in SPA
