First of all: the view was incredible! The hosts were really nice, and we loved the great handmade breakfast. Rooms had everything you need, including a fridge. For diner you have to try the menue at the Agriturismo which is located next to the hotel. We had five delicious courses and it was the most special diner we had during our trip. It was 40€ per person but so worth it. The owner of Villa Maria was so kind to do the reservation for us.

Host Francesca and her team are amazing! Grazie di tutto! Great location with a fantastic view. 15-minute drive to the commercial beaches, 30 Max to the wild ones. Tasty breakfast, strong Wi-Fi and sky sports Italia- you can watch the Champions League in your room.

It was raining and cloudy, so we could not have breakfast outside or see the view. There was a filtration in our room, which I think should be fixed. The hotel is old-fashioned.

The breakfast was healthy, fresh, and varied. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Ignazio, the man working at the reception, made sure that we arrived at the hotel safely.

Walls are a bit thin with sound but everyone tends to go to bed early so it wasn't a problem for us.

Great breakfast. The views, breathtaking! No restaurant besides breakfast. Next door agritourismo had full menu dinners for 40€, which was huge but a bit average for flavors. Good hike to Cala Fuili. Keep in mind coming back up is a proper workout!

The accommodation itself is modest but the views are spectacular and the location is great for exploring the gulf of Orosei.

The view from the terrace is amazing! Not to be missed! You can see out to see, up the coast and down into a breath-taking canyon. The whole area has such a calm feeling to it. Once it was dark you could see all that stars. There is basically no light pollution. The breakfasts were excellent. Nice selection of bread, cheese, meat, yoghurt. Particularly great selection of freshly made cakes and pastries. The location is a little way out of Cala Gonone. You really need a car or bike to reach it. You can walk down to the beach below, but it takes around 30minutes and is steep uphill on the way back. Very hard work to climb up in the heat of summer. There are a couple of agritourisms in walking distance where you can get a set menu with wine. You are also only 10-15 minutes drive from many restaurants in Cala Gonone. The general area has a beautiful coastline and stunning mountains and canyons inland.

The rooms are a bit on the small side. We had to wait a bit to check in as no one was there when we arrived at our appointed hour for check-in. The wifi access is so-so.

The hotel is in a fantastic location with an outstanding view out over the coast and the sea. The rooms are basic, but comfortable. The breakfast was superb, with fresh fruits, freshly made cakes, and homemade yogurt among many other choices. Sitting at breakfast while looking out to sea was one of the highlights of the trip!
