The room was on the very last floor which made its charm, but it is quite steep carrying the bags.

The location was great just outside Piazza del Popolo, the communication to get codes for check in /breakfast etc was very good. There were very good little restaurant in the street below. The room was cleaned every day, towels changed which was nice.

All good 😊 don't accidentally pull emergency cord in shower though, like we did! A "help" light kept flashing all night and we were unable to reset. Interestingly, no-one came to help but staff did reset it for us swiftly the next morning.

Great location, good facilities, excellent aircon and coffee. Staff got back to me very quickly when I had questions.

There were no keys waiting for us when we arrived. Had to wait about a half hour to get into our room. Once we got a key they only provided one. And the key is required in the room to turn on lights. The shower head did not work well. We had to remove the valve assembly to adjust it. When we reported this they basically said, it has been working fine.

in a city Centre you expect some ambient street noise but this property has an extremely antisocial neighbour who blasts out music just when most want to sleep - not in the control or fault of the property but good earplugs a must!!

No heating option! AC system only had cold air and up to 23 degrees. Also, even though we left the room, the AC activated by itself making things worse. Our trip was in mid September and it was a bit chilly. Although our room was booked for 4 people (2 double beds) only one was prepared beforehand. We contacted the reception and cleaning services by phone (no in-person service) and at the end we sorting out the room by ourselves. Also, we couldnt find blankets the first day. People were helpful (by phone) and the issue is not critical but for this price one could expect these sort of things to be taken care of.

Can't think of anything I didn't like. Perhaps that the shower head sprayed water outside of the shower but this is really a minor thing.

It was a great stay. Nice, clean, comfortable hotel. Great location, close pretty much to everything, and if walking is not desired there is even a taxi stand within 300 meters distance. Very helpful (via WhatsApp, no staff in the location) staff. Easy "virtual" check-in. Very good price, compared to other hotels in the area.

Did not receive code for door pad, shower broke, room smelled musty, the ceiling had a leak, no coffee maker in the room, windows on street level were left open and I could not close them, staff did not come to close till next day. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I want to be clear that we did not end up staying at THIS location - the day before check-in, I received a message from Profumo that we could not stay at the Maison Ripetta location because of "technical difficulties", and that we would instead have to stay at the Maison Pellegrino location, which is in a different neighborhood entirely. They were going to "upgrade" us to a room with 1 double bed, when we had booked a room with 2 queen beds. They offered to add a twin bed to the upgraded room, but when I stated we wanted 2 queen beds they instead gave us 2 rooms, which was appreciated. However, we picked the Ripetta location because it was a 1 minute walk from our previous hotel (we decided to extend our stay in Rome by 1 day but could not remain at that hotel because they were booked), and the change in location became a headache. The taxi driver could not find the Pellegrino hotel and got lost, then dropped us off a few blocks away so we had to walk 10 minutes with our suitcases. This resulted in us missing our Colosseum tour that day, so we were out about 175 euros between the taxi and tour tickets. The Pellegrino itself was in a weird location and the rooms were extremely small, and one did not have a working AC unit so it was humid. The floors were not very clean, and the bed was 2 twin beds pushed together, which would have been fine if they were at the same level, which they were not.

The location of this specific Profumo hotel is great, which is why we booked it.

I can't say that there was anything we didn't like, but it should be taken into account that the apartments, or at least the one we stayed in, don't have a door between the rooms and if you travel as a couple, you don't really have privacy.

A beautiful boutique hotel situated near the colleseum, great location. A perfect place to stay in Rome. Beds were so comfortable we slept late 😊. Staff were helpful, friendly and very courteous. Excellent selection for breakfast. I would highly recommend and defintely stay again.
