Not enough sockets and no curtains in the room. We had an early departure so couldn’t get help with carrying our luggage to the car- the steps to get to the car park are not ideal when you have heavy luggage. They have a service to carry the luggage from 8am-8pm

The road and traffic up that side of the lake is madness; take a ferry or hire a bike.

All the staff are excellent and could not do enough for us. The quality of everything was high and stayed high throughout. We went to relax and relax we did. The views were exquisite, food phenomenal and a great experience.

Lake Como a very busy waterway with boats and helicopters so could be a bit noisy at times.

The location was stunning! Torno turned out to be an amazing find! A hidden gem!! The property was absolutely beautiful, especially the outdoor spaces near the water.

The only thing I would consider to change in the future would be some sort of a fan in order to avoid high temperatures in the rooms.

The whole stay in the Hotel Vapore has definitely outgrown our expectations. The personnel of the place was extremely polite. The atmosphere of the hotel and the restaurant was mesmerizing.

This is our yearly stop on our way towards Tuscany. We always stay here for a few days to enjoy all the good that Lake Como has to offer. The friendly staff, the restaurant, the unique location and its views makes it unavoidable that we will return next year.

sorry we couldn't swim so easily - you had to go to beach in another town, some staff didn't seem to appreciate it when we swam from the garden (and we could only do it when restaurant was not in use), rooms (especially bathroom) outdated which had its charm as well

it was a bit noisy. There was a loud function until late on Friday night and the room had thin walls so I was kept awake by the couple in the neighbouring room.

Tremendously pretty location. Hotel dates from turn of 20th century at least and had terrific period charm. It was lovely to sit on the terrace eating breakfast and dinner and it has a lovely vibe at dinner.

Torno isn't well serviced by the ferries. If you want to head up the lake, the real first option isn't until about 10 am. So your day starts at midday visiting Villas etc. They can be pretty full as well on the weekends.

The staff and location were great. Torno is not very 'touristy' but still has more than enough bar, restaurants, and sights to keep you busy. Everyne was very friendly, prices were okay for being on the Lake.

Hotel Vapore is charming and welcoming. Moreover, its location is perfection. One cannot help but relax and just enjoy the beautiful views and surroundings. The wine list is impressive and the restaurant dinner was good. Breakfast was excellent (including the coffee).

The walls of the rooms are a little thin, it was not disturbing for a few nights but I imagine that in the long run it can bother. It is not possible to go to the hotel by car (be careful to read the sign at the top of the street of the hotel) which can bother people with reduced mobility. To park your car you have to go to the private parking lot 400 m from the hotel for a price of 15€/night.

The location of the hotel is very good. Torno is about 15 minutes by car from Como. We did not try it but a "boat bus" leaves from the hotel and goes to Como if you do not have a car. The view of the lake from the room was beautiful. The hotel is "in its juice" and quite typical which gives it a lot of charm. The rooms are not very modern but they have the comfort and practicality you need. The breakfast was very good and varied. We also ate very well in the hotel's restaurant whose terrace overlooks the lake.

It’s not about the hotel- there are too many places to eat in the village,except the restaurants in the both hotels .
