The hotel staff were overall very friendly and helpful, which we greatly appreciated. However, there is room for improvement in their guest approach. A more attentive and proactive manner could enhance the guest experience. For example, during dinner, I waited for 15 minutes with my plate after finding a hair in my food, and the staff noticed but did not approach me until I called a waiter. Additionally, at the breakfast buffet, there was no one to welcome me or show me where to sit, and I had to wait for 5 minutes before seating myself inside instead of on the terrace due to a lack of guidance. Plus buffet was kinda empty when I arrived at 9:50 (breakfast on sunday was until 10:30!!) In the wellness area, it was very loud and crowded, making it difficult to relax. Also I felt likr sitting in a glass house/zoo The presence of external visitors in the pool and spa areas also contributed to the noise and overcrowding. I would prefer these facilities to be exclusive to hotel guests. Furthermore, my massage was disrupted by the noise from other spa users.

In our opinion the main space for improvement is in the spa area - the swimming pool felt full of chemicals, and after a delightful sauna area it was a little disappointing.

The hotel offers a fantastic blend of nature, comfort, attentiveness from personnel, and wellness. This establishment is ideal for those seeking a relaxing escape with the added benefits of a spa and a restaurant. Its located very close to the city center of Varese, as well as other dining places and natural attractions.

The room was extremely hot, I called at midnight reception and asked to fix the air-conditioning but, still it was blowing hot air. When you pay 250 euro/night for a room, I think, guests should be able to fix the room temperature not to call the reception to do it!! We had to leave the window open all night, the hotel is next to a busy road therefore, the noise was disturbing! Swimming pool very small and crowded !

Staff is very polite and helpful; the family room was of goods size. Very good restaurant, on our arrival we were late for lunch but the waiter managed to serve us very nice lunch.

An interesting hotel in terms of its eco-concept. Nice spa, swimming pool with jacuzzi and saunas. Excellent breakfasts. Quiet, calm. There is a pet store nearby, which looks more like a mini-zoo. We enjoyed walking there.

Staff in the steak house at the hotel was not very friendly, food was also not amazing. Had fake fire alarm coming off for 4 times during the night.

The SPA was a little bit disappointing. Despite having reserved time slots, the SPA was overcrowded, making it difficult to relax. Additionally, the presence of kids playing and screaming disrupted the peaceful atmosphere. Moreover, it would have been convenient to have towels available in the SPA area, as the bathrobe provided wasn't sufficient for drying off after treatments.

Overall, our stay at this hotel was pleasant. The hotel itself is beautiful and modern, and the staff were warm and accommodating throughout our visit. The breakfast offered was enjoyable.

It was not the idylic country hotel I imagined - the road nearby is quite noisy, even at night (if you sleep with an open window as we did - no waking up to the birds singing. Not impressed with the breakfast - had to eat it with lots of flies flying around and landing on us and the food (some sort of electronic fly catcher would probably be a good idea), the selection of food will not leave one hungry for sure but nothing special to report.

Excellent base to visit the lakes and Milan, loved the parking arrangements right in front of the entrance to the room. The personnel lovely and helpful. Lots of great places to eat around Vareze and around. DId not try the restaurant in the hotel - Thought would try the authentic (and much cheaper) nearby places and did not regret. We had outstanding meals the 3 nights we stayed - Bologna restaurant in Vareze expecially recommended. The room is clean, well appointed and nicely decorated. The mattress is on the hard side which I personally loved.

The rooms were poorly equipped in term of storage for clothes. No drawers/ shelves for clothes and no rails in the bathroom to hang towels. Expected a kettle in room but this was not the case. Found the spa manager somewhat officious.

The spa and pool were great, although the additional charge to have a sun bed around the pool seemed unnecessary. Breakfast was good, snack bar Ok but there was a poor selection of ice creams etc. Staff were generally extremely helpful.
