There was a bit of mould in the bathroom and a damp smell in the room

The location, the building, the communication, the breakfast, the rooms were lovely, having a kettle and a fridge and air conditioning was great. The bed was very comfortable and we all slept well as it was very peaceful and quiet.

It was much farther from the Colosseum where we also did a tour, so we took a taxi. The breakfast was good but minimal. It was also hard to find the entrance and confusing as to how to enter the building and where it was located once we got into the building.

The close proximity to the Vatican was great because we did a tour there. The bathroom was nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable.

I was expecting a reception, but it was easy to contact the place. It could be mentioned that strollers don't fit the elevator. Luckily, it's only one floor up. Considering people with disabilities it would be good to have a more precise description of the entrance.

Breakfast to the room. I noticed that generally in Italy, people don't have so much breakfast. I was hoping for more full corn bread (not just white). At least there were options to choose from. So the breakfast here was better than in other places.

Despite the grand name, the rooms were more basic than luxurious. The bathroom had mold, and there was dust behind the radiator. The shower had a broken soap container, and the breakfast, served in-room, lacked quality with unpackaged brioches and no provided mineral water. It would have been appreciated to have a water bottle upon arrival, a common amenity in other accommodations. The discrepancy between the name and the actual room quality is notable and important for potential guests to be aware of. Despite the name "Vatican Grand Suites," it's crucial to note that the accommodations are more in line with a standard and basic B&B. The rooms, lacking the expected suite-like amenities, are indeed very basic. This discrepancy between the name and the actual offerings is an important consideration for potential guests seeking a more elaborate experience.

I stayed at Vatican Grand Suites and found it conveniently close to St. Peter's Square, just a 15-minute walk away. On a positive note, communication was prompt, and late-night check-in via codes was convenient. Prices are relatively cheap compared to other nearby hotels, we reserved our room via Booking.

The hotel is quite close to the Vatican (10min walk) and close to various good Italian restaurants and bakeries/gelaterias. It is also situated in one of the better neighborhood's in Rome where you can walk safely with your family till late in the evening. The room was clean and just big enough for a 4 person family. When we had to leave a bit earlier then normal, we asked if we could get the breakfast earlier and this was ok with them. They provided us with croissants/crackers and drinks so we could take them with us and have breakfast on our way to the Colosseum. The owner and staff are very helpful and can always be reached via the phone.

There was a bad smell coming from the drains in the bathroom. I am.not sure how much the staff can do to fix or if it was something affecting the entire building.

Both the apartment and flat entrance is 2 wing doors, and it is very narrow to pass through. There was a smell in the hall of the apartment also. These are not the big deals though.

The room was good and met our expectations. Breakfast was served at room, and location is awesome. It is located in a secure and silent boulevard compared to other locations in Rome.

The shower rarely had hot water and even if it did apear then it was fluctuating between hot and cold every 10 seconds. The breakfast was ok, but nothing special (the quality of the croissants changed from day to day).

The location is great - walking distance to the major sights and a lot of less touristy restaurants in the area. Room is comfortable and has everything you need. Very good value for money.

When we arrived to the property there was nobody to open the door. Someone said something on the intercom and then disappeared. We were on the street with our carry-ons for quite a while trying to decide what to do. After some time, a young man (friend of the owner) came and following instructions from the owner on his phone, he opened the door and gave us access to the room. It was a stressful situation that could have been avoided with some organization.

Overall the room was very well decorated, top quality bathroom and bed. Coffee maker machine, TV, hair dryer and so on. Room overlooking to the street. Quiet.

The room and the bathroom are a little small by American standards.

Simple breakfast croissant was provided daily. Despite my own mistakes in providing the wrong times/dates on the breakfast ordering sheet, the host was very friendly and quickly adjusted to help us out and always with a smile. Good location - I liked being away from the crowds, yet close to a church and a metro station to get where we needed to be. I also liked the two separate twin beds for the kids.

Didn't realise we had to call a telephone number to gain access to the building the only indication was the was on the intercom by the main entrance, probably my misunderstanding otherwise was I spoke to someone and gaining access wasn't a problem.

Large comfortable bed, very clean room, maid service every day, nice fresh pastries for breakfast. Located near by across the road is a lovely restaurant, apartment close to the Vatican.

I’m a bit concerned about the hair dryer, the back end of the hair dryer is very dusty.

Overall, worth the price! It’s not a hotel, more of a b&b. Pretty good location. The staff was friendly and room was quite comfortable. The checkin and checkout time were flexible. The breakfast does not have a large variety of food to choose but it’s fine.

Confusion on arrival - told to phone to get codes to enter the building but no answer but then an existing guest told us to call through WattsApp instead and it was all sorted fairly swiftly.

Great location, lovely being served breakfast in your room and each day being able to select your breakfast for delivery the next day. Close to public transport if required. Very comfortable bed. Polite & friendly staff.
