How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Oven wasn’t working and mosquito net on window would be an advantage.
Close proximity to buses and train for Venice and couple minutes to Lidl or Mega shops. Very clean. Price is very good.

To het on the other side of Train station there is subway which is closed during the night. Very difficult to get to the early bus to the airport.
Calm location close to Train and bus stations. Close was the unique pizzeria Pizzalonga with super tasty pizzas take away.

Photos do not correspond to reality, at least in my case. Maybe the owner took photos of the best apartments but I had the worst one that wasn't placed on the booking.

It is a little cold
Location is better than any other accommodation. Host is ver kind. And I can listen Venezia tour information from the host. I can feel safe with thorough security. It is closed to supermarket and transportation.

Our neighbour's door were right next to ours, and made a very loud sound everytime they'd open or close their door, which woke us up. So just not very soundproof.
It was very spacious and we appreciated the shared kitchen with a kettle.

The small of mold. The walls very super humid and the room was cold.
The place is close to Venezia Mestre and it’s a good option if you don’t want to overpay for a stay in Venezia itself. It was also close to supermarkets and in a quiet area.

The kitchen haven’t any equipment. No any pan for frying! Just one very old big saucepan.
Reasonable price, comfortable bed. Not so far from train station and bus / tram stop. Quiet area.

Had trouble finding it at first.
Well, that's just a room with a bed and access to toilet. Everything worked fine. Host replying quickly on Booking messages. Walking distance to train station, a bus to Venezia just a stone's throw away.

wow, the house has a kitchen room. We lived in ground floor. there are 3 rooms should share the bathroom. But it is not busy at all. The location is very quite and convenient. There are many bus station nearby for Venice.

Windows were opened in the room when I arrived so there was so many mosquitos inside.

The room was incredibly hot. There was a fan present in the room which made it acceptable. However, if the room just had a window with an insect screen then it'd be so much better. We couldn't open the windows as mosquitos would infest the place immediately.
A nice location close for a nice price. Only a short bus ride to Venice center. Beds were comfortable and there was free parking available.

The place is not clean. The floors and surfaces are dirty. There are a few cockroaches that come out at night. Our room smelled like mold, and when we opened the windows to air the room it smelled like sewage. The door rooms are glass doors covered with vinyl, hence provide no sound insulation and make a lot of noise when people open/close. I wouldn't stay at this place again and would have preferred to pay more and stay at a better place.
The location was convenient. Close to the train station and the supermarket.

1. Worst check in experience I have ever experienced, first they refused to check us in later after our sincere request because we had change of schedule so we had to accomodate the hotel instead. We had to wait for a person to come to check us in even though there was a self check in box on the gate, they could have left keys there, and we were with three bags standing there on the sun. Then apparently he forgot his keys went back home. In short bad check in. 2. Room was not clean, hair everywhere, and dust, wasn't properly cleaned. Fortunately bed linen was clean. 3. There was no air conditioner nor a fan and we couldn't even open windows because there were no mosquitoe nets so it was very hot in the room. 4. Lots of mosquitoes, we had a war with them all night. Couldn't sleep properly 5. Shower cabin was very narrow one slim person could barely fit there. 6. Very loud doors and thin walls you could hear toilet flush and even other visitors conversation was audible. 7. Light was very low in the room 8. In conclusion one of the worst experiences!! . Do not recommend for long stay especially in summer, maybe one night is okay if you want to just sleep and than continue your journey.
1. Bathroom was clean. 2. Kitchen was clean and enough equiped to cook. 3. Location very convenient, close to the train/bus stations and grocery stores.

Lots of misquitos...and only a fan for cooling...everything was as expected for the price and time of year...great towels and good beds

There was a kitchen which was useful, however all the amenities in the kitchen did not work, such as the oven.

There was no oil in the kitchen, we had to close the window for sleeping because mosquitos came from outside. Would be nice if there was a protective net.
The location was good, it was clean enough, no cockroaches were found, and the price is really good. The towels and sheets were clean. Overall if you are coming to your hotel just to sleep - its alright.
