Fabulous apartment. Great facilities. 3 good sized double bedrooms with lovely bed linen and white towels. Roof terrace and private parking space is a great bonus. Communication with host was excellent. Lots of useful information and help when needed. Location good for a city break. 20-30 minute walk to main shopping and cathedral square but supermarket and bakery just round the corner for daily supplies.

Absolutely FABULOUS apartment. Loved everything about it 😍. The hosts Alberto and Maria were very responsive to my many requests for advice!! As a group of 3 couples, we especially loved the roof top terrace where we spent every evening just chatting and drinking wine 🍷 😀 - it is a superb space. The apartment is very spacious and the decor amazing (you wait till you see the ceilings in the dining room and lounge 😍). Don't hesitate.... book it ....... you won't be sorry 👍

The property is just beautiful! The interiors are amazing! Every bedroom with own balcony! Just perfect 🤩 The host were very nice and easy to communicate with. The space is very generous not something we have expected. Everything was easy, from the arrival to check in though check out. The place is more like for 7 people in case you have a bigger group.

Very nice apartment, close to the main street, the rooms are very big, clean, the beds are very comfortable, the terrace is great, everything was perfect for a 5 days stay. Nonna Maria explained us everything about the place, she expected us with cookies from a local pastry which was very thoughful and also water in the fridge. Alberto provided us with links to restaurants and places to visit which was very helpful. Thank you, we highly recommend La Renaissance.

Everything was great.

This house is awesome! They have done a great job restoring it, do check out the album where you can see how it was before and after restoration. The beds were comfortable, the shower was good with plenty of hot water and good force. Alberto made a lot of good recommendations for restaurants and other places. We tried two of the restaurants he suggested and the food was amazing!! Communication was great and overall a very positive experience. Do not hesitate to book this place!!

Nothing in particular. Maybe some oil to the hinges of the large wooden doors :-) At night opening the bathroom doors makes you aware of the others sleeping down the corridor.

First and foremost, the apartment itself was absolutely stunning. It was beautifully decorated, spacious, and had all the amenities one could ask for. The attention to detail was remarkable, and it truly felt like a home away from home. I immediately felt comfortable and at ease upon entering. The apartment was part of a palazo, and in the living area there is a book which shows how it was renovated to its past glory. We were 4 of us and each had his own bedroom and bathroom. The terrace is an added bonus to this property and we had a wonderful afternoon picnic, eating and drinking local products we bought from the market. The location of the apartment was also fantastic. Via Filomena with its vibrant nightlife is very near. For beer lovers - Mosiac is down the road :-) What truly set this stay apart, however, was the exceptional service provided by the hosts. From the moment I made the reservation, Alberto was incredibly responsive and accommodating. He went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect, providing helpful recommendations and making us feel welcome throughout our time there. The restaurant recommendations given by Alberto were spot on. We were also welcomed by a nice 'sweet' gift from the "nonna" which we really apriciated. I must also mention the seamless check-in and check-out process. Alberto provided clear instructions and were readily available to assist with any questions or concerns. If you're looking for a truly exceptional place to stay, I highly recommend booking this apartment. You won't be disappointed!

Absolutely nothing.

La Renaissance was the highlight of our vacation in Sicily. Unfortunately we were only guests for 3 nights in this apartment, which was perfect in every detail. On the lower floor there are three beautiful bedrooms with comfortable double beds, large wardrobes and plenty of space. There are also two very tastefully decorated bathrooms that make you feel at home. The small kitchen is also perfectly equipped and you can enjoy a small breakfast at the counter before exploring the city or the area around Catania. For larger meals, there is a large table in the living/dining room. This room is incredibly beautiful with its large windows, white curtains, high ceilings and stylish lounge corner. All the rooms on this floor have detailed ceiling paintings. And the flooring, which alternates between parquet and tiles, is a dream. And then there's a cute little floor with a single bedroom and another bathroom with a bathtub, a sitting area, ... and as we write this, we already want to fly there again. Thank you so much for this wonderful time and the many helpful tips for our vacation. We felt right at home.

Nothing negative at all.

Apartment is enormous, with nice equipment and furniture - literal palace. There are several bathrooms - ideal for bigger group of guests. It's situated near the city centre and comes with a garage, few minutes away. Owners Maria and her grandson Alberto are great hosts, super helpful and were willing to aid us with anything. I would definitely recommend it for everyone coming to Catania.

Everything was super!

Location is perfect near downtown, spatious rooms, clean, usefull terrace for six people. The owner, Alberto, help us with very useful recommendations wich made our vacation more happy than we expected. Also, we had a free protected parking close to the location. Appartement is insanely beautiful and freshly renovated. You can feel it was done with love. Location is very central, we walked everywhere. Parking is 3 min away and supermarket 5 min. We were greeted beforehand by Alberto and he provided us with all the useful info and advice. Upon arrival we had a smooth check in and he made sure to answer 14566 of my questions patiently. Location is great. Shops and restaurants were a few steps away. Spacious and well maintained and exceptionally clean. Very comfortable with air conditioning. A lovely tray of Sicilian treats plus a bottle of Prosecco were a beautiful welcome by our hosts, Alberto and his grandmother Maria. They were very kind and attentive.

We loved this apartment, the renovations done by Alberto and his family are wonderful. Very spacious and the property has everything you need. Just awesome to sit and take in the beauty of the apartment. Alberto provided a lot of information on what can be seen and restaurants. A beautiful welcome gift left for us in the fridge.

The apartment is wonderful. Spacious, modern, comfortable, and excellent. We were a family group and had plenty of room and 3 bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked. The washing machine was excellent. The beds and linen were very comfortable and cool. Despite being stuck in a 43 degree Celsius heat wave, the apartment stayed very cool and was a haven to retreat to in the heat.

everything was perfect !

the apartment was beautiful , modern and very clean . the owners Alberto and his grandmother were the ultimate hosts . they provided food , and staples to get us through a few mornings . they took us to see the closest grocery store for any other needs . since my friends all arrived at different times they got us taxis to pick us up to bring us to the apartment . they checked in daily to see if we needed anything and what we were up to . it was truly like coming home each day after a day of sightseeing to many other towns in Sicily . the beds were comfortable, sheets clean and crisp , towels plenty ! even had a washer to wash clothes ! from all our travels this vacation home was really elegant comfortable and welcoming !
