How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I felt sorry for the single reception staff who seemed to be responsible for everything. Also, forget the toiletries and the chocolates, they need to rewrite their advertising "blurb" 🙂😇
Within a 5 minute walk of the Duomo square, this hotel occupies just one floor of a renovated building. The rooms are large, well appointed and the bed comfortable. We were early and able to leave our bags.

The tram can be loud at night otherwise everything is great.

The price
Very clean & comfortable. Prices in all of Milan were crazy that weekend and hence thought it was a bit overpriced. The location was 10/10

It was quite noisy from guests in the adjoining rooms but we were so tired it didn't disturb us for too long.
The location was perfect very central to all public transport and close to Duomo. The room was perfect, very clean and although we were only there two nights tge vedding was changed and we were supposed with clean towels. The staff looked after our luggage as we arrived early and again after we checked out before our departure.

The walls were super slim and I could hear other couples being intimate.. so it was quite noisy..
I liked the location, very close to the Duomo and many restaurants and shops

The lack of blackout curtains in the bedroom didn’t make it too easy to sleep. The room itself was comfortable but it needs black out curtains.
Location was great, so close to the Duomo etc…. It was clean and easily accessed too.

Bathrooms were a little bit too small and our TV didn't work too well.

There is a Chinese Restaurant entrance of the building. Sadly restaurant's food smells filling the hotel. Hotel need to be renovate a little like bathroom floors. Price was a bit expensive for that kind of Boutique hotel. We understand it because of location.
Victor Boutique Hotel was at the Perfect location. Just 50m away from Duomo Cathedral. Room was so clean. Friendly helpful employees.

The tram runs right outside the windows all day and night long. It was so loud.
The room was large and temperature was way to control. It’s fairly close to everything.

The bathrooms require so work, where there is no tiles and it is just painted the water is damaging the walls. There was mould in the door seal which could be replaces. The walls are quite thin and you could hear other guests easily- but it didn’t take away from our stay.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for shopping and tourists sites. The room was a good size. There was enough hangers.

There is flight of stairs before getting to the lift.
Nice, modern and spacious rooms with lots of storage space in centre of Milan. The electric blinds were handy. The accommodation offered airport transfer & the price was very reasonable.

The staff was great and the room was clean. However, it seems that management has not prioritized maintenance and upkeep. My shower flooded the bathroom and out into the bedroom. The good staff mopped that up, but water seeped up through the tiles. They kindly moved me to another room. The door to my (second) room didn't easily close, but the staff showed me the technique.
From the front door to the Duomo was a short 5-minute walk. The location was ideal. Although the hotel is near the center of tourist activity, the room was quiet, comfortable, and perfect for a good night's sleep.

Nothing major but if you do not want them to clean your room while you are out do put the no disturb sign. The hallway can be noisy when people open and close their door. I used earplugs so not too much issue.
Location is AMAZING! Right at the central of Milan and tram stops are near by. Clean room and nice cooling AC specially in the summer time. The staff are friendly.
