Booking. Com automatically cancelled Booking without me realising I had to pay by a certain date. I thought I was paying on arrival. Therefore booked again quickly in a panic and had a family room with boys at the end of our bed. Not best arrangement for teenagers. Original room I think had their beds around the corner providing privacy for them and me. Place is a bit remote contributing to us eating there every night. More likely to go back to self catering providing option to eat I or out.

We stayed here because of its proximity to Alghero airport (less than 10 minutes away). Very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel. Staff particularly welcoming. Had a country club feel. Good pool. Good restaurant.

We arrived late and checked out early so we had a short stay. However, there was a nice pool and a large restaurant with terrace that was packed. Very helpful staff. Very clean. Large parking on premises. Hotel also arranged airport transfer for us.

Alghero is a little bit dirty town.

The staff was very friendly and kind. The food was delicious. I left my wallet on our holiday, and I didn't know where. One day they send me a message that find it in the safe and sent me to Hungary. It was a very generous thing. Thank you very much!

Amazing property, calm, clean, fantastic environment. Ideal for chill and relax and close enough to Alghero and its surroundings. Kids particularly loved the pool being really deep at one end. Not to forget the great food at the restaurant and, which seems well known to the locals. Staff were super friendly.

Considering all the other excellent aspects, I expected more from the breakfast. However, the hotel might be less suitable if you don't have your own transportation.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The pool was great, providing a refreshing and enjoyable experience. Additionally, the property is well maintained, creating a pleasant atmosphere throughout my visit. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

Footpaths to the accommodation from the carparks and main building would be helpful rather than walking across grass. The pool was very deep at one end for smaller kids. Otherwise was a perfect convenient stay.

We stayed here for one night only because of its proximity to the airport (about 3-5k) as we had an early flight and preferred not to return to Alghero. Staff especially the restaurant staff were very friendly. Diana on reception was very helpful beforehand and during our stay. The villa is modern, spotlessly clean and has a very relaxing pool. Restaurant doesn't serve lunch but we were able to get a delicious salad. Evening meal was very good quality too and reasonably priced. Breakfast had good choices and one of the better on our trip. Would highly recommend as a rural alternative to Alghero and delighted we stayed there, would return.

We returned after an excellent stay last year and it was exactly as we remembered! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are excellent and very clean and the property very well maintained. The pool is amazing, very nice after some trips to archealogical sites in the area. We can also recommend having a meal in the restaurant, delicious food!

the spacious rooms and bathrooms were perfect! also, the food was really really good. the room had two drying racks and A huge balcony, which was perfect for us with two young (1 and 3) kids.

The rooms are not very good in terms of sound isolation. Still, it did not interrupt our sleep or rest. The room would benefit from a decoration update.

We loved everything about our stay at Villa Barbarina! Friendly staff, our room was perfect for our family of 3, lovely swimming pool with beds and space for lying in the shade. And it has a great onsite restaurant too. Alghero is just a short car drive away, and you are also close to Sassari and Porto Torres for example.

Restaurant not open for lunch. Bathroom scarcely equipped - nowhere to place a toothbrush and very basic toiletries. Not enough hooks to hang towels. If your room is in the separate building you need to walk to the breakfast accros (100 metres or so) a lawn which is wet in the morning as sprinklers have been on all night. You arrive with wet feet/shoes. Maybe a little paved pathway could be built?

Nice, peaceful location in the middle of the countryside. Good swimming pool. Nice breakfast and excellent pizzas available in the evenings at the restaurant. The ladies serving breakfast were very friendly.
