Our room had a metal canopy bed, which is quite unique. However, it may not be ideal for older or heavier individuals as it tends to sway quite a bit. I would recommend such a beautiful bed for fit couples. We are apparently a bit too old for it :)

Wonderfully renovated villa in the middle of a very busy city. The decor is stunning, with marble fitting for Carrara everywhere. The bathroom is so beautiful, you could just admire it. The entire villa is filled with artworks from both well-known and lesser-known artists, making it a pure delight for visual enthusiasts. The breakfast is decent, the cleanliness is excellent. Coffee and tea are available in the room, along with a fridge. The lady who runs the villa is very friendly and accommodating. She suggested places to visit and recommended restaurants.

This is a lovely, spacious B&B with tall ceilings and lots of interesting original artwork. The staff and management are friendly and kind, and take great care to accommodate every need. It was my second stay, and wouldn’t think of any other place when visiting Carrara.

Everything, particularly warm welcome and beautiful hotel full of interesting design and artwork and delicious breakfast. Excellent recommendation for dinner at nearby fish restaurant. Wonderful view over garden to Carrara marble mountains

Margherita the host is a wonderful lady who immediately gave us a warm welcome. We stayed in a wonderful spacious room , beds were perfect not too soft, not too strong. The room gave us the piece we needed during our workation stay in Carrara.

Everything was beautiful!

The flat was beautiful, very nicely decorated, spacious, super clean, in a word great! Marguérite Margherita was a great hostess, super friendly with lots of useful tips about the area! Great Breakfast too😋We will definitely come back there.

Leaving

We had the fabulous room with the terrace at the top of the house. The owner Marguerita (Malgorzarta?) is lovely, very, very welcoming and extremely helpful. The girl who did breakfast was lovely too. We felt at home. The house is also full of interesting contemporary artwork. My favourite is the boy leaning against the wall outside on his phone.

It was a beautiful place to stay! Margareta was a perfect host and helpful in any way including picking us up from the train and taking us back when our visit was over. We were staying here to see Cinque Terre and she was very helpful in helping us decide when it would fit into our tight schedule. Also very informative about the town of Carrara. I love learning about things in this way. Turns out, if you buy marble, it may very well have come from here.

A unique historical villa featuring nice selection of contemporary art. The room we stayed was overlooking the beautiful garden. The host explained and gave hints how and what to see at the marble quarries of Carrara where we spend the next morning.

Beautiful villa, with an amazing mix of modern and classic. The room is big and comfortable, the staff is incredibly kind and helpful and the breakfast was very good and complete. I have to admit I was surprised, according to reviews the place is great, but reality is even better!

What a gem! Delightful welcome from Margherita, to their beautifully restored villa. Spacious top floor suite with huge terrace overlooking gardens, everything has been thought about. Breakfast was delicious, just wish we’d stayed longer. Top marks!
