Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

New ZealandThe bed was quite creaky and sagged a bit in the middle which was uncomfortable - a new bed base and mattress would help. A microwave would be useful, and the fridge door lacked secure storage for larger bottles. The wifi was almost non-existent, we manged to pick up a signal when out by the pool, but inside was useless.
The view from the balcony towards the bay of Naples was fantastic and Cinzia and her family were welcoming, especially helpful as we arrived later at night than originally planned but were still able to check in easily. Car parking is excellent, off the street. The rooms were spacious. Location was great for access to the Amalfi coastal towns and Sorrento - sadly the buses were less than regular and completely not on time, so we spent a lot of time waiting. We appreciated the bottle of wine to welcome us, and then two further bottles (home made and delicious) from Cinzia's father, and having our laundry dome as well.

United KingdomWeak Wi-Fi service at times.
We absolutely loved the location, breathtaking look over Sorrento and the bay, lovely local shops and restaurants and Cinzia and her family have been a godsend! We got offered coffee and even food while we stayed there and Mamma Cinzia even ironed my shirts for the wedding! Cinzia and her family were welcoming, friendly and helpful, humble and loving family to hang out with! We parted with a hug and will definitely be back!

United KingdomWi-Fi inside the apartment was not great but I did go to Italy to sit inside. It also meant the teenagers went to sit in Wi-Fi corner as we named it by the pool.. 😀
Cinzia and her family are very friendly and welcoming. We were greeted with a smile and home made limoncello. The 1 bed apartment was great for our needs as a family of 4 including 2 teenagers. We had everything we needed. A fantastic view of the bay of Naples, 3 restaurants, a shop, a bar in the village, parking and a wonderful pool. Giovanni (Dad) showed me around his herb Garden to use freely and came with gifts of home grown tomato’s and wine. We were also treated to hone made bread from Cinzia’s mum. We were all made to feel incredibly welcome. Thankyou.

United KingdomThe WiFi in the room was not consistent. It was fine outside. Cinzia was keen to get this sorted out with a signal boosted.
This friendly family run business is fabulous. The location is superb , particularly when very hot as there is a breeze. Views are totally stunning and the swimming pool is outstanding. There is a local supermarket , bar and good restaurants all in close walking distance . We were very well looked after by Cinzia and her father. Our apartment had outstanding views it was very clean and very spacious. It's a fabulous place to stay.

United KingdomNothing!
This is a home from home, everything you need for a relaxing, self catering stay. A warm welcome on arrival from Cinzia, her Mother and her Father, Giovanni. Giovanni made us fresh coffee which was much appreciated after travelling since 1am from London. Cinzia took the time to sit with us and tell us about her home, amenities in the area and also show us around our room and ensure we were settled. The bed was very comfortable, room was clean, kettle, fridge, toaster, hair dryer etc everything you need and more. We were very comfortable there, it feels so homely. Especially with Cinzia and her family be around to help with anything you need. On two occasions we were brought ice cream to the pool! Giovanni has a vineyard opposite where he makes wine, he gifted us a bottle of red and a bottle of white to enjoy during our stay. 2 minute walk to a bus stop where you can visit positano, sorrento, amalfi etc. all no more than €2.40 per person. Easy to get around, although there are no timetables you just have to be early and wait! You buy your tickets before boarding, at the “bar” across the road. Which is a cafe / restaurant open from early til late. One evening Giovanni bought us some home made lemon cello to enjoy whilst we watched the sunset from the terrace. The true beauty of this view cannot be explained. You must see it for yourself. The pool area is kept immaculately clean and the pool has a shower and diving board. We felt so welcomed by this lovely family, opening up their home to us and catering for all we needed. There are 4 very nice restaurants in the “square” again just 2 minutes walk. Everything is perfect. We couldn’t have asked for more. If you’re thinking of booking - just do it! We will be back again and again. Cannot recommend enough 😃 thank you Cinzia and family, you are so kind and we had the best holiday, a true Italian authentic experience, sight seeing and luxury relaxation.

IrelandThe apartment could do with a bit of renovating (mattress, wifi).
We received a very warmth welcome from the hosts, Giovanni and Cinzia, who received us with coffee and lemoncello despite are getting lost and running late. Conversations with Giovanni were very enjoyable. Cinzia always available and willing to help and making sure we all have a pleasant stay. Both are very kind people. The most remarkable features of the place are its incredible pool and fantastic views. The location is very convenient, you can easily reach Sorrento and the whole Amalfi coast (better to rent a car/scooter). I definitely recommend this accommodation.

CanadaThe owners, the property all amazing. The million dollar view from the terrace. Cinzia picked us up from a train station and showed us how to navigate in the village and surrounding area. Cinzia's dad treated me with a fresh coffee every morning. Thank you. Village has a very good restaurant Refugio. Hiking trails are very close proximity.

Estonianothing!
We loved everything! The host and her family were the loveliest and kindest people ever. They were doing everything to make our stay as perfect, nice and comfortable as possible. Always ready to help, assist and give out solutions. For that we thank you so so much! The property was amazing. We had no words. Everything was so much better than what you can sense in the pictures. The view from the garden was amazing! The pool was so clean. There were deck chairs where you can soak up the sun and read a book. The garden was so beautful with many flowers and vegetables. many seating places to just sit and admire the view, eat breakfast. The rooms were beautiful (my personal favourite was our pink bathroom!). They were so clean. The bed was very comfortable (didn't have huge and rock hard pillows!) and the kitchen had every tool you would need. The location was perfect- a very short ride to Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. There were bus stations nearby too, but we found it more comfortable to rent a scooter in Sorrento. Nearby were a few cute local shops and restaurants. In conclusion- our stay here couldn't have been better. A great value for money. When we come back, we will definitely stay here again and you reading this should too! Thank you!❤️

FinlandWiFi did not work in our apartment and you had to be outside to get any connection. Kitchen was not very well equipped. Also the air conditioning was not enough to cool the main bed room (air source was in the kitchen/ living room). Apartment was quite small for four, but not too small.
Cinzia and Giovanni are the greatest. You feel welcomed. Giovanni tomatoes, lemons and herbs from the garden is there to use and you can even get Giovannis wine red and white. The views are beautiful to the Gulf of Naples and Vesuvius in the backround. The pool was also wonderful and clean.

The place is well kept and very clean. The view of the sea is marvelous. Cinzia and her family are very courteous, helpful and friendly. There are cooking herbs in their small garden that Cinzia's family offers freely for kitchen use.

IcelandOverall the stay was perfect. The location is great, the view is even better and the hosts are simply the best! The swimming pool was big and very clean always. The room was clean and spacious. The villa is located in a small village away from all the noise but still very close to a supermarket and few good restaurants. It's the perfect spot if you want to explore both Sorrento and Amalfi/Positano. With a scooter it only took us 10 minutes to go down to Sorrento and around 15 minutes to drive to Positano. Cinzia stayed up late for us when we arrived and helped us with transportation from the airport to the villa. Her dad, Giovanni, gave us homemade wine and vegetables from the garden. He is awesome, a super cool guy - always outside before we woke up to clean the pool and making the sun beds ready. They were so friendly, welcoming and helpful with everything. 10/10 hosts! We could not recommend the villa more and will for sure be back, hopefully soon!

Location was high up a hill but this suited us. We were away from the bustle and traffic of sorrento and we had beautiful views over the city.

United KingdomThe Villa is very authentic and family run. Cinzia is so very helpful. Our friends where staying at hotel prestige and Cinzia kindly gave us a lift to visit them. The pool is an excellent size, the views are amazing. The property is in the mountains so it’s abit away from Sorrento.
The property was very clean and had an authentic Italian feel. The apartment was very spacious with a large double bed.
