There are a lot of additional possible attractions (like wine tour, dinner, etc) with a very high price, so we didn't take them, so we cannot comment about them and if they are worth the money - but take it into account that when ordering.

Everything was amazing. Although we thought before visiting the place that it was less friendly and "warm" place and more just a business, we found out that we were wrong. The Hosts were super friendly and nice. The room(s) are very large and make you feel like you are in a 16th-century Medici family villa (which is actually true by the way). The location is amazing and the villa landscape is awesome - you can spend the early few days just walking around and enjoying the weather and all the beauty the place has to offer. The food was very good and generally, we had a very good experience and we definitely will come back. If money is an issue for you, you can come during "non-season" time. We got a 50% discount on the original price and also we were upgraded to a suitroom, which of course made our experience even better.

We visited in early November - lovely rooms and a very nice & atmospheric breakfast. Property has an authentic, castle-like wine resort feeling. On a steep hill, a car is needed (the walk to the city goes through a small industrial area).

Please provide couple of more converters, as we only had one plug which we could use. The tea kettle also had no converter for the plug so we had to use the plug inside the fireplace.

We loved the beautiful setup and choices for breakfast. The staff is very friendly, also the Wine Tasting was great, Nicola was an enthusiastic and professional guide. Our room was spacious, and with a beautiful terrace and view to the garden.

The road up to the property is rustic

Beautiful historic resort. Food is incredible - every detail perfect!! The restaurant at the bottom of the hill was a delightful experience. The owner was gracious and tremendously accommodating.

It's an old building so wi-fi can be a problem - ask to stay in the new rooms that are well appointed and work with I-phone wi-fi. Having said that the old rooms are very beautiful - but if you need good wi-fi!

We planned touring Tuscany by car and this was a very good location for Florence, Sienna, San Gimignano, Lucca, Pisa and as far south as Cortona. It's an old working winery and their wins are very nice - well stocked and reasonably priced mini-bar! The staff are very good and great chats at breakfast before heading off into the countryside.

Beautiful 14th century property, had such great character and the surrounding grounds are beautiful to explore. The room was perfect with lots of storage and good aircon.

You cannot eat dinner at the hotel. There is a restaurant owned by the hotel which is very good, which is at the bottom of the drive, about 600m from the hotel. The only slightly unfortunate issue is that it is in an industrial complex and on a busy road. You cannot really see the complex but it would be nicer if you could eat dinner at the hotel. Alternatively you need to drive or take a taxi to other nearby restaurants.

Beautiful hotel and wine resort, on the hills near to Florence, with lovely views. Fabulous place to relax and unwind. Great rooms. Very welcoming staff. Delicious wine. Excellent breakfast. Fantastic pool.

1- I got a room in the new annex, which is not a problem, but the way from the annex to the main part where the breakfast and pool are, is quite pebbly and uncomfortable, specially if one is wearing flip flops or summer shoe. The same way takes you the parking location which is quite dark at night, I had often to use the light of my mobile phone. A small step would do wonders! 2- I wish if they could take care more of the cleaning, the toilet was unfortunately not very clean.

First of all, I loved the estate, it’s amazing, very nicely decorated and smelled like wine when I arrived! The gardens and pool are very beautiful, the view from the room and specially at sunrise was magnificent. The staff were friendly, specially the breakfast staff.

The pure description of Tuscany. This accomodation has a great view, a great architecture, super comfy rooms and a nice pool. There is so much space around the villa it is amazing.

Villa Dianella is a haven of peace. The building, the surroundings and the room were beautiful. The food was wonderful both at the hotel and the restaurant. Thank you to the friendly and efficient staff. The pool looked stunning.
