For a 3 star hotel I couldn't expect more than it provided to us.

Value for money, very close to the beach, that in 200m it also got a swimming pool and a restaurant (A différent owner perhaps has it, but you get a discount for the sunbeds when you stay at the hotel).. Big parking is also available for customers. We were happy with our stay that we wanted to extend it a bit but the hotel was really booked. For sure I would consider it again in our next visit.

Breakfast was kind of poor with limited choice, e.g. there was no vegetables. On the other hand, the pastries were fresh and crusty. As a result, there is a space for improvement.

The room is furnished very well and the view is great. Eventhough, we booked the room with a mountain view, we had also a sea view (corner room :)) The staff is really kind and helpful. We also appreciated the possibility of free private parking in front of the hotel.

Just a few tiny things, like our safe didn't work, we had booked sea view but it was not really full sea view like the rooms in the building front. Far from other restaurants but not a problem for us

The breakfast was not lavish, but it was adequate. Unfortunately, we were looking forward to a swim in the pool but we were too late at 19h30 as they had just renewed the chlorine.

The restaurant overlooking the sea was a cut above the simple accommodation, with its swimming pool and extensive gardens - and you can drive or walk to it from the hotel.

Wifi was terrible - as far as I am concerned - this shouldn't be named wifi internet, because it simply was not working. Given the space of the bathroom, shower could be bigger.

We booked in last minute, so wasn't really sure what to expect. In the end, the room was clean, bed was very comfortable, breakfast was nice.

On arrival, despite having specifically mentioned our request to eat dinner at their restaurant, we were told that there was a wedding party that night and the restaurant may not be able to accommodate us. People clearly make very sudden decisions to marry in these parts, there can’t be any other explanation for the hotel not telling us this fact when we booked. The railway line runs right in front of the hotel (just across the car park), as it does all around the coast of Italy. The trains didn’t run overnight, luckily, but they were omnipresent when they did. Our minibar was completely empty (not that we wanted anything but at the hotel prices a bottle of water would have been reasonable to expect). Also, despite being empty the mini fridge was switched on, so it was both wasteful and useless. There was a note in the room exhorting us not to steal the bathrobes, yet there were no bathrobes, necessitating a conversation with reception wherein the lady just laughed & said that everyone says that. Clearly the option of removing the note hasn’t occurred to them.

The restaurant at the beach club nearby was good, they serve a delicious fritto misto and we found a wine we loved & have since bought direct from the cantina. The bed was comfortable and the hotel miraculously quiet overnight (but don’t count on it).

A relatively minor point but, while the bathroom is spacious, the shower itself could do with modernisation. International travellers would also appreciate international tv channels. Also good to add more local information in the lobby and to ensure that guests know about the good restaurant in the sister hotel on the beach. These are minor quibbles to what is a pleasant, well-located, extremely good-value hotel in a border-town area not known for its decent hotels.

The hotel itself is in a charming location, beyond the commercial bustle of Ventimiglia itself. Apart from a winning location, with a charming view of the villa-dotted hillside and the sea, the bedrooms are spacious, pleasant and modernised, the external corridors tastefully done in parquet. WiFi worked well while breakfast proved better than expected. Not only is the hotel excellent value for money but it complements its sister hotel, Eva Beach Hotel, which is virtually next-door, smaller, more romantic and more upmarket, and set right on the beach. This sister hotel is run by friendly, young staff and offers an excellent (and well-priced) menu, primarily based on seafood but the chef is ready to cook "off-menu" if needed.

They take your credit card details (including CVC code) and write them on a piece of paper for “security” reasons. Anyone working at the reception can copy the details and shop online. Explained that many people did damage to the hotel and got away. When we arrived there we had 3 towels in the room and good thing that we asked at the reception to check the room before leaving, otherwise they would charge our card for the 4th towel we did not have from the start. Luckily we had our suitcases there and opened them to show that we did not steal a towel.
