Villa Gaia is a hidden gem! It is set in a perfect location, right in the centre of Taormina , yet so quiet and tranquil. The room was very comfortable and the patio and gardens are lovely . Lucy was extremely helpful, giving us suggestions on where to eat and places to visit and we were made to feel very welcome. We would definitely recommend.

We absolutely fell in love with the place, the pictures don't do it justice. The location is perfect for everywhere we wanted to go and the views from our room were breathtaking with both the sea and Mount Etna. The room was beautifully decorated and clean and Josephine, the lovely host, couldn't have done more for us. We've stayed all over the world but Villa Gaia has a special place in my heart.

Parking was in a huge underground car park maybe 300 metres away, which seemed secure but was a little awkward. Nearby bar was noisy into the early hours but didn’t stop me sleeping.

Quirky hotel full of artwork, in an excellent position - with a great view of Mount Etna from the bedroom window. Josephine the hotel owner was lovely, friendly and helpful. Certainly not up-market but full of character and a great place.

The restaurant next door was a bit loud & noisy. Made it hard to sleep. Parking is tricky and a bit of a walk.

Villa Gaia is a beautiful Sicilian villa in a beautiful location. Our room had views of Etna from the balcony window and the sea from the other window. Terracotta rooftops, the vibrant green of trees, the patchwork of houses and the everchanging skies above Etna make Villa Gaia an exceptional place to stay. Our room and en-suite were spotlessly clean and the bed incredibly comfortable. Our host, Josephine, was so welcoming and helpful from start to finish. She recommended restaurants and organized our airport taxi. We really have had a wonderful stay in Taormina.

Great location towards the west end of the centre of Taormina just a few steps away from Corso Umberto. Comfortable room with view of Etna. Balcony with seating. Very helpful hostess. Electric moka coffee maker.

Not the fault of the hosts but fees in the public car park are very high. Maybe need better information on the website. 50.00 EUR for a 2 day stay.

Excellent location in the main area of Taormina, welcoming reception with good local information. Did a day trip to Mount Etna by car from there which was a great day out.

Had to shorten my stay. Owner would not refund for my last 3 days, though Booking.com had said I was able to. No lift or elevator. No staff to help with bags.
