Quiet noisy with very thick walls. We could ear the TV from the room next door. The staff also starts quiet early to clean the rooms. There was almost no food left for breakfast (although we went around 9 am).

The hotel was located far from the city center, and we had to walk along a dangerous road to get to the city centre and back. The room was slightly dirty and had limited plugs. The worst part of our stay was that there were extremely loud people in the lobby at night and early morning, which woke us up every night. The hotel also advertised a garden/terrace, but there was none. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I was particularly impressed by the staff, who were always friendly and helpful. They were great at providing advice on what to do in the area. The breakfast lady was a real gem. She was always happy to help.

The hotel was older than it looked in the photos. The doors had zero sound isolation and we could hear every move in the corridor. In some places of the hotel, not in our room, there was the small of humidity/dampness. The rooms were very basic. Not good value for money, even for the expensive Sorrento area. .

It’s pricey considering that the hotel is difficult to access and isn’t close to anything. It’s also an old property and in need of some upgrades/TLC. Yes, there is a bus stop nearby but it requires a somewhat treacherous walk along a very narrow road with crazy drivers. If we were much younger it would have been fine, but we are middle-aged and had my 74 year old MIL with us.

Lovely staff—such nice people. They tried really hard to make us happy. I give a 10/10 to just the staff. I felt bad that it wasn’t the right place for our family. Definitely for a younger traveler that don’t expect any frills. Great breakfast and cool vibe.

Spicy Hotel is a small, clean and cozy hotel. The service was very kind, with a smile from all the staff we met during our stay, especially Mr. Pasquale who spared us no details, even the smallest, with wholehearted service. The breakfast was plentiful but a little different from what we are used to, a lot of cakes and sweets, less vegetables, eggs/omelettes and dairy products Highly recommend it!

The room and the bathroom is a bit old with small shower . Luck of sound proof, from my room we can hear other guest at the corridor ,(i think it was a group going in others room , and slamming the doors ).There wasn't a fringe at the room , (positive : you could buy cold water at the reception 24/7) . There isn't a elevator .

The best think at the hotel was the personel ,very friendly organised , and polite helpfull over the top , they gaves tips about our stay , and the program of train and the busses, they can also help you book activites dinners etc, at the breakfast also very friendly personel every day making us a coffee. The hotel has modern design details at the lobby. Every day fresh clean sheets and towels that smell wonderful,and new shampoo every day . It's near the bus station ,and 3.5km from center .The breakfast has many sweets options , more than 15 choices (waffles, croissants, chocolate and lemon cakes , tart , donuts , etc.) not so many salty choices boiled eggs, scrable egg ,baycon, salami ,turkey and cheese and tomatoes. the personel made our vacation easier.

No restaurant, no room service, no pool, airc on leaked, shower leaked, rooms where hot, very basic breakfast, cant bring food into the hotel or rooms, even though they have no facilities.

Maria was lovely, and suggest tours for us, very hospitable.

The front desk man was bothersome with parking. The parking situation was not good (too tight). The taxis took a long time to come to the hotel. Ants/bugs in the room. Toilet seat was broken. Never replenished soap/shampoo or toilet paper.

It was affordable. They had a shuttle to two restaurants. The breakfast lady (Consuela/Elizabeth) was very nice and provided speedy service.

Maria was an excellent host giving us many fantastic suggestions we got the budget room which was very good for the price you pay the shower was tiny but the rest of the room was excellent I felt very welcome to stay at this hotel and the price was an absolute bargain also the buffet was one of the better ones in Italy

no pool no bar no restaurant no tea making facilities in room. needed to get a bus into town or to local restaurants ( although two restaurants would pick you up and take you back to hotel free of charge) local bus 150 yards from hotel every 20 mins €1.80 pp ew room quite small, no window just glass in single door onto patio

Getting to the hotel is only possible by bus or some other vehicle. It takes several minutes but you cannot walk as there is practically no sidewalk. The room was really on the small side. The bathroom is really small and it was inconvenient for me to take a shower. There are no shelves to put soap or shampoo under the shower space and no hooks for your towel available as well. The tube on the wall which was supposed to be a base for the shower head was loose. Also there was a problem with the drain in the shower and the water was not always going quickly in it which ultimately seemed like a little flood, sometimes ankle deep. There was soap but no shampoo. When we arrived, some kind of a bug was flying in the room. I went on the balcony to have a cigarette and it turned out the little table and the chair beside it there were wet. On top of that the room was facing a very busy road and it was always noisy. The room walls are very thin and we were able to hear all the noise from the hallway, always door closing sounds early in the morning. On the second morning the cleaning lady tried to enter the room to clean it at 8:15 am which amazed us since the check out time is 10:30 am and we were leaving the same day. Apparently, she did not have a list with the check out rooms and disturbed us totally unnecessarily. We were awake since she was loud cleaning rooms and closing doors for at least half an hour already but it was still a very unpleasant experience. All in all we would never go back to this hotel.

The staff at the front desk and breakfast area were all very nice. We've been sent all the needed information on how to get to the hotel in advance. It was clean and the room was cleaned every day. The breakfast was good.
