Nothing we loved it all. One thing to mention is that if you wanted silence and tranquility you will hear road traffic due to the location but that didn’t bother us.

We Loved everything about this property. The view over the countryside from the terrace and swimming pool was stunning. The decor is charming and they have retained as much as they could during the refurb of the property. The staff were lovely and the host was really kind to upgrade our room to fit our 2 bikes in. The room we had was amazing so we were very grateful. We wished we could have stayed longer. Breakfast was lovely and we asked for an extra coffee and we’re not charged. The honesty bar has great wines and there really is everything you need here. We would highly recommend staying here.

This was our favorite stay in Italy. So nice. Christine and her staff were so very helpful and friendly. Christine arranged manny restaurant reservations and wine tour reservations for us. The front of the B&B is right in the middle of Panzano, within walking distance of everything in the town. Yet, the back of the B&B is right on vineyards and olive orchards (see photo). Breakfast was personal, delicious, and included a WIDE selection of hot and cold items. Our room was large with modern amenities, with a private outdoor seating patio. This B&B is where you should stay in Panzano. It has private car parking.

The property was beautiful, our room was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Panzano is a lovely town to stay in. The view from the terrace and pool was incredible and we appreciated how helpful and friendly all of the staff were. Would highly recommend!

We loved this property, Cristina is an amazing host there isn’t one thing that has not been thought of and is available to the guest. The breakfast is wonderful you are given a huge selection from cereal, delicious fresh fruits, pastries and scrambled eggs. Choice of fresh juices every morning, cakes, pastries, fruit are available all day with a mini bar that is presented beautifully on a bar cart which is there for you free of charge.

A little bit of heaven in an old hill town on a stunning tuscan hillside. A beautiful old building that has been lovingly and tastefully restored. Very much a place you will want to return to. Christine is an excellent hostess who will provide very useful advice about local restaurants, of which there are several, of top quality within walking distance.

This is an amazing Villa. Christine & John were the perfect hosts. It was romantic, quiet and relaxing and had everything we needed to make it feel like home. Breakfast on the Terrace was gorgeous. The Villa is 5 min walk to a range of great local restaurants. Christine was so helpful in organising a driver for local tours; bookings for restaurants and anything else we needed. I would highly recommend this Villa for a weekend getaway, or a place to base yourself to explore the Tuscany region. Panzano in Chianti was divine. We will be back.

The only thing I would say is you're very much left to your own devices as soon as you're checked in - there was a bar, kitchen etc area but had no clue whether we could use it, what we could take or anything. Couldn't find towels so had to message. Some guidance or a welcome book would've been appreciated.

Location was amazing - Panzano is a very cute quintessential Italian town and there are some really nice restaurants that were within walking distance of the villa. The view from the pool area was breath-taking and as there are only 5 rooms, it was never busy and we often had the area to ourselves which was bliss! Breakfast is served overlooking the mountains which was a fab way to start the day. Our room was modern, spacious and comfy. John, who checked us in was v friendly and made us feel at ease. All in all we had an amazing stay and could've stayed for a lot longer!

Christina and staff were amazing. Every need was anticipated and taken care of. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The Villa was quiet and close to many other towns. We were able to visit several vineyards. It was nice after a long day to relax and sit by the pool. If you don’t want to drive there is a bus into Florence which runs during the day and night. Great location. However, above all the views are amazing. Breakfast was outside with a beautiful panorama . We traveled to Siena which was close by and a beautiful city. The rooms were immaculate and every necessity you may need. We will be going back in September. Can’t wait!!!

Can only recommend staying at Villa La Petraia, Christine made us feel welcome from the very beginning: Even helping us get a table at the famous restaurant of Dario Cecchini for dinner one night. The backyard and pool are lovely, overseeing the vineyards and olive gardens. Breakfast was delicious with a big variety and service outside. The rooms are spacious and feature very high ceilings. Overall a lovely weekend - we‘ll definitely visit again
