Barbara and her staff were super friendly and accommodating. Our accommodations were in pristine condition. Could tell that the owners put in much thought and love into making sure their guests are comfortable and well taken care of.

The minute we arrived, we felt like this was a very special place. Julian and Barbara were just lovely and such gracious host. The property is absolutely stunning, With all the lemon trees and flowers. our room was just beautiful and extremely comfortable. We also enjoyed the lovely breakfast while sitting out on the patio looking at the property.

We really enjoyed our stay at Barbara’s Villa in beautiful Lucca. She was an amazing host - welcomed us warmly with sparkling wine upon check-in and cooked us fresh delicious eggs for breakfast. She was generous with her advice and guidance for things to do in Lucca and even secured us a reservation at a delicious restaurant. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this homely cosy place in Tuscany. Grazie Mille :)

We didn’t miss a thing.

The building is in fact an palace sharing Italian and Austrian identity’s. There is an amazing flowered garden and swimming pool open during summer time. Classical perfumed and well decorated room with high levels of hygiene control. Impeccable breakfast and warm reception. Everything was perfect in the minimum details. Couldn’t be better.

This is a beautiful property that has been lovingly refurbished by Barbara, Gunter and Julian. The gardens are so tranquil and inviting to sit outside with an appertivo to soak in the day.

I booked this for my parents for a wedding anniversary trip and it couldn’t of been better! The hotel is stunning, the rooms gorgeous and spacious, the pool and grounds are immaculate and the breakfast was amazing. The welcome addition of bikes and a cute dog was the icing on the cake! The team couldn’t do enough for my parents and they didn’t want to leave, they’re already talking about coming back.

The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choice served in beautiful surroundings We were able to use bicycles to explore the surrounding countryside and to access the town of Lucca. The bedroom was also excellent and the en suite bathroom of equal quality

Insufficient signage to find the Villa. Hard to stop on narrow, winding road once located. But, plenty of parking once inside gates.

Unique, restored Villa with amazing grounds around the villa, including a pool ( not heated) and multiple sitting areas. Very exclusive ambiance residence with only 12 rooms.

Need more light at entrance at night to see the gate entrance - a little obscure on the first night when we arrived.

Excellent in all respects including the breakfast. Missed the torta on the second day! Julian is a delightful fellow and keen to assist and please guests. We did not meet his parents but in their absence he did an amazing job. Congratulations.

This is a personal choice that is hard to please everyone. We prefer a firm mattress and ours were a bit softer than we like but still managed to sleep “like a baby”

This is a family run operation and it shows in the warmth of the welcome you receive and attention to your comfort. The garden and pool area were relaxing and you could have drinks and light meals served when requested. Our host, Barbara, made excellent recommendations for local restaurants. We chose a location that was outside the city walls to ensure it was a quiet area and it is!

A beautiful house a few minutes away from Lucca. Barbara and her family were really welcoming and they made everything possible to make our stay nice. The Royal Suite is really fantastic (thanks for the upgrade). It’s a privilege to discover Tuscany from an ancient house (1712), beautifully refurbished and decorated. Really quiet, great breakfast.

Since it is located outside Lucca we needed a taxi to get into town and to the wedding we were attending. Taxi’s are quite difficult to find in this area.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The owners went out of their way to make our stay special. The rooms are lovely with comfortable beds and beautifully decorated. The gardens are so pretty and we enjoyed relaxing by the pool under the umbrellas or in a shaded spot. We enjoyed our breakfast in the garden every morning under the arbor which included a wide selection of foods from their buffet as well as a cooked breakfast. Would definitely stay again if we returned to this area.

To say that we liked the property is to say nothing. We LOVED it. Owned by the beautiful family this place is very well run and managed. Everyone in the family is involved in making guests happy and enjoy their stay. It does feel they put their hearts into creating beautiful and cozy atmosphere. The rooms were super clean and beds were comfortable. We regretted we stayed only for one night here. Barbara, the owner, provided lots of info on where to do for sightseeing. Private villa Reale was the best highlight of our trip. Thank you thank you thank you

Our expectations were high based on the reviews we saw before making our reservation but they were blown up in the brief time we spent at Villa La Preziosa. The room had all we needed and the central cooling system created the optimal temperature without the noise that AC units make. The hosts were amazing, making a great time spent there even better. I only wish we'd spend more time here, but we will definitely come back.

The owners take really good care of this place, they put a lot of energy and attention to each and every detail. And one can feel this. Great breakfast, amazing rooms, fresh water daily, also really good water pressure in the bathroom - for me it’s important as I have long hair and want to wash my hair once/twice a week. The bathrooms were really nice and elegant I also liked the rooms size, the mattreses and pillows quality and the central ventilation system (we could set it at the temp we wished for and it did not blow air like individual AC systems so we could sleep with cool air). Loved the pool, even if it seemed small, it was more than enough.

It's a wonderful place. 😊 The larger rooms were amazing and the smaller one as well. But If I should say anything that could be improved, then I would have loved to have a couple of creaks on the wall, in the little room my husband and I stayed in, just because the space was so compressed and it would have been nice to be able to hang a bag or housecoat. But really no big deal. All on all it was a wonderful place ☺️

I liked everything. The whole atmosphere was so nice, and all the little details around the house and garden really made a difference. The food and service was great. All in all it was a pleasure to stay at Villa La Prezioza 🙏🌺😊 And we will highly recommend it to everyone.
