Although the location is hard to beat, getting there is quite challenging as you have to drive through the very narrow and busy roads of the old Town. We arrived in Sirmione around 2:00 pm and the roads were packed with people which made the drive to the hotel very stressful. Getting out early in the morning was a breeze as the roads were pretty empty then.

This was a very charming little hotel. The room is small but comfortable with a safety box and mini fridge. Small little balcony as well but with partial vue on the lake. The breakfast was very good with a good selection to choose from. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had the chance to deal with Matt and he was a delight. You can't beat the location. It was right in the old town, steps away from all the restaurants, bars and shops but far enough so it's nice and quiet at l time.

A little expensive, but ok value considering the rest of Sirmione! The peninsular is quite small with only a few streets, but this one is a bit off the main area. Not much out of the way, but not on any of the main streets.

Beautiful view from our room of the church. Sirmione is quiet enough, but the location was very peaceful. Friendly and helpful staff, good buffet breakfast. Good size rooms, and bathroom too.

Hotel is DIRECTLY in Sirmione - you must drive through the narrow alleys of the town to get to this hotel. We had no problems as we showed up very late at night 00:45 :( We never met the reception in the hotel. Not sure if reception is specific to this hotel. We arrived late and reception at the Hotel Continental was able to give us the hotel keys (Reception here is 24h). Interestingly enough, we needed to give up our car keys at the Hotel Continental - where we also parked the car (no extra charge). Location of hotel is excellent - short walk to the center of Sirmione as well as to swimming at Jamaica Beach. I thnk next time, we will find a hotel outside of Sirmione and then park at the Parking lot directly in front of the foot bridge into Sirmione. It is a very small island. The hotel room was comfortable (slightly older) and the bathroom was very small but sufficient for our needs. Breakfast was good.

Booking in and paying for stay at a different hotel although the receptionist of that hotel couldn’t have been more helpful. Although the hotel was in a good position as a lady of a certain age I found the long uphill walk difficult.

Noisy - sound proofing not great A shame the hotel that we booked in to and checked out of was unable to allow us to use the pool

A lift was great, location good and because of location parking a must even though we had to pay The bed was very comfortable

The rooms aren't decorated beautifully - they are quite simple. But honestly, everything you need is there.

The staff at Villa Maria were so friendly, and the rooms were perfect for several couples staying for a wedding closeby. You can walk to Sirmione from Villa Maria and can be at Jamaica Bach in 10 / 15 minutes.

My error for not reading the welcome email properly but be aware that check in/check out is at the sister hotel. The property is located on a slight uphill.

Clean, functional, just what we needed. Breakfast was a good spread. Staff were lovely especially Stefano who helped with my delayed luggage which was much appreciated. He was very patient in helping me and answering any questions.

The location of the hotel was out of the way and very hard to drag suitcases up a hill in the heat. It was inconvenient to get to via public transport. I recommend a shuttle be provided from the train station.

The staff were friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was very good.

It would be great to have a vending machine in the hallway that accepts credit cards and not just coins. But it’s rather a nice to have point, not a request.

The hotel is nicely positioned away from the usual Sirmione crowds, is very clean, new, and with super friendly and helpful personnel. There’s no reception and therefore check-in and check-out need to be done in the nearby hotel but it’s just 150 m away and the process is organized very well. Good breakfast that if the weather allows is served outside in a courtyard. Definitely recommended.

The shower was so tiny it was suffocating and not a pleasing experience with weak water pressure Bathroom is clean and big (except shower) but no intimacy so close to the bed Breakfast was good but lacking variety and home made stuff

I loved the place! The room with lake view is worth it, such a nice view to relax and enjoy! Also the AC in the room is perfect, comfy beds. Breakfast is good and location is superb close enough to restaurants and beach!

There was nowhere to sit in the sun, Hotel Continental expressly said no Villa Maria guests welcome to use their facilities and pool, although the evening bar service was good. No mini bar. The public beach was crowded (mid August I know) and quite a walk but the cafe there was OK.

Parking has very limited spots and its hard to get in with a bigger car (we had Audi A6 station wagon)

It was quite an experience to get to the hotel by car. You need to drive through crowds of people on narrow streets of old city. The hotel is clean and cozy.

Car park was small so quite a squeeze to get our car in. Lovely Young man (staff) at Villa was very helpful to get us parked correctly.

Lovely location in the old town. 10 minute walk down. Great breakfast. Had a lake view room with balcony . The view was stunning. The hotel was very clean and modern and very comfortable . Can highly recommend . The old town of sirmione is stunning. Our taxi dropped us at the castle and we had a 10 minute walk up to the hotel as the old town us very narrow and restricted for cars. We did however book a private taxi through hotel continental who came to the hotel and picked us up to take us to the train station when we left . There is a surcharge of 15 euros during 930-1330 die to traffic and driving through narrow street at busy times
